I took my 80-year old mother and bought a used 2016 impala that was a very nice car. A few weeks later, the salesman called her and told her there was another car that came in she would like better. He convinced her to trade her 2016 car for a 2008 because it was $10000 cheaper! he drove it to her house! then pressured her sign papers because the "deal" was too good to pass up! well, they depreciated her trade, charged her for many extras. She ended up with less than $5k for a 9 year old car, that had been in a wreak.
