I recieved a letter saying my wages will be ganished from a company i've never knew or heard of for an amount i never seen, wasn't served never contacted for a collection and now this. i looked up my case by last name and sure enough its from a company RICHLAN HOLDINGS INC. i'am now responable for court fee filing fees and more all for something i have no clue what........
Richland holdings or acctcorpsn is a very awful predatory company preying on people whove been down by the economy. I had a account open with them in 2008, I never received a notice from them until around 2013 which at that point a small credit card i had go default at the time was only around 400$, and with fees and interest had gone up to over 4000$ I tried working with them and setting up a payment plan,as i have done with all of my previous default bills i had and every single one of those worked with me. Now back to richland holdings they would not budge on wanting 1500$ a month i cant afford that and most people in this country cant. While trying to work out a deal with them the lady i spoke with on the phone was very rude using profanity,mocking me. No deal was reached and i told her that i would fight them tooth and nail,she called me an a*****e and hung up That was the last i heard from them until early this year. I had moved to Washington state in 2014 and in March 2016 i get a garnishment letter at work without having ever received a summons or anything so now my total bill is $8005.07 all from a 300$ credit card 8 years ago. I dont how ita possible to be sued 1000 miles away with no way to defend yourself in court and the amount of interest that is charged and it still gets charged after the judgment has been awarded. This company needs to be stopped so no other person who is down on their luck has to suffer the emotional and monetary damage that this comapny and the shady deceitful practices does to a person. PLEASE SHUT DOWN THIS COMPANY

I lived at the shelter island on swenson in Las vegas for about two weeks maybe I couldn't afford the second week so I left knowing that I owed rent now mind you this is a weekly not a traditional apartment building now two months in March right after I request my crdit report as I do each year I get home from work and this guy is knocking at my door like the darn police he ask me was I this person I said yes he said your being sued and handed me these papers the papers shows I owed $494.00 which the paper stated I had 20 days from the date of me receiving it to respond I called on numerous occasions to speak to the lady whom the told me was handling the case she was always on the other line or not avalible now today in my mail box I get this outragous amount that they are proceeding with a wage garnishment first off they didn't serve me any papers in March and I only stated there two weeks all there ridicous charges are foul Principal $494.25 $62.07 pre judgement interests $750.00 attorneys fees and $383.50 Costs making the total amount 1,689.82 plus$36.15 accrued interest and $82.50 accrued cost together with $25.00 $143.65 What the check is all this for two weeks I paid my first week and couldn't afford the second week so I left I'm getting me an attorney this people are not garnishing my wages for all these unnessary b.s. charges no way in hell
Company took my collection and charged an immediate 3000 dollars on top of original balance with 24 percent interest. When I questioned them they immediately sued for the balance. I never was served and they got a default judgement. My 3000 dollar purchase that I had paid 1200 on ,before I lost my job, ended with a judgement of 9500 dollars owed.
This all occurred under one year of it going to Richland holdings. They charged a collection fee of 2000 dollars and law fees of 1500 and then added 24 percent interest on all of it. When I tried to have judgement set aside because I was not served and the process server had listed a discription of a female 5’6 160 pounds, I was told by the judge that they just made a mistake.
I’m 5’8 and 190 pounds and I asked why they didn’t get a name or signature they said that they don’t need that. Why do we have process servers then?!! I spend only about 35 percent of my time in vegas and never recieved a 3 day letter or any other mailed document until it was past due dates. They began garnishing my wages and I am now paying 2400 dollars a month.
Donna Armenta their attorney that didn’t even show up to court, but called in on the phone. She told the judge this amount and that I have money so I can pay it fast. Shame on the civil judicial system in Nevada for this and shame on Donna Armenta for representing an unethical practice of law with a company know for lies and stealing good peoples money.
This started when I recieved a bill from a dentists office for $682.83 around 6 months ago (radiant smiles on w, sahara ave) for part of a dental treatment that my son had done around 4-5 years ago, when I contacted them and said that all monies due for his dental work were all paid for at the time of treatment, they insisted that this amount wos still due.I informed them they were incorrect and I was going to contact the B.B.B. Soon after that I got a letter from a collection agency (richlands holdings,4955 s,durango drive, suite177) demanding the sum owed, recieved many calls from them demanding payment.
Last week I received a short paycheck and discovered to my disbelief that my paycheck had been garnished !! $414.91 taken from my paycheck without any notice given to me regarding any law suit, judgement or any information sent to my home or work. Received a copy of the judgement couple of days ago regarding who the company is and what it was for and stating that the bill is now $1811.77. I had not been informed of any legal proceeding against me and had no idea any court hearings or judgements were ongoing, only found out when I received my garnished paycheck.
Richland Holdings, Inc has sued me and got my wages garnished without serving a summons. I did not learn of the default judgment until I received a Writ of Execution and my wages already garnished. This has caused emotional distress and financial burden.
The original debt is for $562.50, but they are claiming fees totaling $1,750.81. I believe they have also violated the FDCPA because the statue of Limitations has expired. Richland Holdings, Inc does not deserve to pratice business in the State of Nevada since they do not follow legal procedures. I wonder if their process servers are licensed? Are they filing false documents through the courts?
I just received wage garnishment papers from Richland. I have no idea what for and have never been made aware that this had even gone to court. The papers got mailed directly to my house but I've never received paperwork from the courts or the Henderson Constables office.
When I called the number online for I get an answering machine with no greeting just a beep. I smell a scam.
I receiced garnishment papers from richland holdings from monies (supposedly) owed in 2009 they claim they went to court in henderson NV to start proceedings. at no time was I made aware of this debt in fact it was from RC willys account that my ex took me off of during our divorce and he claims the debt was paid I should not have to pay this $5,199 debt since I was never given the chance to fix the problem
I was sued by Richland Holdings Inc. And I have no idea why. I was never served by a process server or informed of a debt or potential lawsuit. I found out today that I have been ordered by the Justice Court of Las Vegas Township to pay $8910.24 to Richland Holdings Inc. On 10/09/2015. I also received a wage garnishment notification from my employer today to satisfy this unknown judgement.
