In the month of June I had gone to Ricart to get a "dependable" vehicle. I had gotten a 2013 Focus with 43,000 miles, but the carfax showed no accidents or anything else. I learned the previous owner works at that dealership so what mechanical work was done there's no proof. Well, apparently the motor has been done 2/3 times and they just did a new transmission (2nd one) a week after I got the car. After the car was done it will die out of the blue with no warning, it will backfire like crazy, airbag light comes on while driving and the "engine fault service now light" came on as well. Which made the car run awful and had to get it towed back to the dealership(8-28-16). On September 1st I went for a ride with the mechanic to point out the flaws and all it did was backfire when we got back. The mechanic told me the person before me ran the car hard and fast. Hmm surprise!! According to the mechanic the only code he was getting was for a boost sensor (that he cleaned and put back on). They can not get the car to do what it does when I have it. The manager was contacted and all he is offering is service work till the car is fixed with no problems. I asked about taking money off the car and was told theres nothing he can do. This evening (9-7-16) I went up to get the car and the service department could not find my keys! I tried to get them to put me in a car about the same price, nope! It's like I am stuck in this car and I don't feel safe nor will I put my children in it. The mechanic has been adding a lot of miles to the vehicle and using the fuel I have put in it. I do have paperwork that I had to ask for as well.
