I was on the phone with my credit card company for over 4 hours. I've had to shred my card and wait for a new one. I'm still fighting over $500 worth of charges although I never ordered anything other than the FREE trial. I cancelled the product but they just keep on coming. Every package has been unopened, refused and returned through UPS.
I signed up for a free trial of Revita Beau for $4.95. After I placed the product in my cart, I was prompted by the website to try Revita Derma free of charge and pay the same shipping and handling so I receive 2 products to try for $4.95. They terms and conditions stated that it was a 2 day trial in which you need to call and cancel or you will be billed full price for each product. This leads you to believe that there should be a noticeably difference over night. I tried the product 1 night after receiving it in the mail. I did not see any results in the appearance of my skin so I called to cancel it on July 20th. The man I spoke with said he would like to extend my trial because the purpose of the trial was to receive feedback from customers. At first I declined, then he insisted stating he would make sure I did not receive any charges and that they would be running specials on the product if I called back between Aug 3 - Aug 8th. He stated I needed to call back after Aug 5th to give feedback and receive offers. I called back Aug 8th to provide feedback cancel my trial again as I still do not like this product. The lady who answered the phone told me there were not any records on notes relating to my conversation, that I had been billed for the products and needed to pay or be sent to collections. I told her no, there has to be a misunderstanding and repeated to her my information that I have stated previously about why I was calling now. She still insisted that I owed the money. I told her, no, this is not how I had been directed by their company in my previous dealings. I am not paying for this s**t. I want to talk to her supervisor and informed her to put her supervisor on the phone. She then put me on hold. After being on hold for 8 minutes. I hung up and called back. This time, when a representative answered their customer service line, she informed me that she could not cancel my account because everything had been canceled and I would not be billed. I don't 100% believe her because of my previous conversation moments earlier this day. I am reporting it so you guys can deal with this company and to ensure that they have indeed canceled my account and that I don't receive any charges as that is what I have now been told twice.
Do not order this product! Not only does it not work as specified, they mislead you about the 14 day trial. The truth is in some small print that they make almost impossible to find on the website. The trial begins the moment you order, not when you receive the product 4 or 5 days later. So you really have only a 9 or 10 day trial. They will bill you $89.95 14 days from date of order! I called to cancel within 12 days of receipt of product, but they had already billed me. Then I had to deal with a rude customer service person who hung up on me as I was suggesting she forward my concerns to management! Total scam of a company. They should be brought up on fraud charges! Beware!!
