Briggs to cash in my annuity that I only owned for one year from a company called Athene holding. He told me to go to Equitrust Life insurance company, but first he said I had to write him a check from my bank account. When I deposited over a hundred thousand dollars in my personal bank and wrote a new check I was hit with a TAX bill from uncle SAM and he collected taxes from my tax deferred annuity. Well, after learning what happened my kids found out that Andrew Briggs got a commission of 7 percent for two years straight. Andrew made out with over 14, 000.00 commission and I was stuck in a new 14 year contract and responsible for all the taxes. He will screw you, watch out. If you have an annuity with Retirement Strategies, Inc. Have your kids look into it as I did.
