I ordered the free trial on-line believing the creams were a free trial and all I needed to do was pay for the shipping of $7.95. I noticed when I created the account there was an autorenewal however I cancelled my membership immediately that same day as I didn't want to be charged or have to send other products back until I had the opportunity to use the product. I thought if I liked the product and wanted more I would just reorder it again on-line.
Murphy's law happened and my computer crashed, I wasn't getting my credit card statements on my phone and could see my charges, I could only see the balance owing. Ultimately, I paid that. Once I bought a new computer and started see all these charges I called RetinolMD and asked what was going on, they told me I agreed to this, I explained I didn't and to cancel any further charges to my credit card immediately and stop sending product as I didn't authorize it.
They searched they’re database and said I didn’t have a membership with them. They said I didn't have a autorenewal I explained I know I haven't received any product and reverse the charges to my card now! They said we just sent you out a package, I did receive one, which I was charged $128.76 for which was shipped the same day I spoke to them it cost me almost $20.00 to send back and they only reversed those charges. This was the only shipment I received the packing slip didn’t give any details of how much my credit card was being charged nor the contents of the package. What legit company does this?
I spoke to the credit card company and have to prove to the credit card company that I have an email I cancelled the membership, conveniently I never received one from Retinol MD as you do this through their support email and it doesn't send you an confirmation email in return.
I am currently stuck with a total of $498.71 worth of charges for products I never received and cringed every time I receive my credit card statement because I wonder if I'm going to have another monthly charge on it from this RetinolMD, BeutyPrivateClub or LesBellsClub.
