The person I spoke to was the owner, Alfred "Fred" Mariani.
He became very irate after I said I was considering my options and refused to give my credit card to a man I'd known for 10 mins. He told me he couldn't work together because of my “character”. I wrote a 100% honest review for his Monroe location and he responded with a threatening series of misspelled emails. He said he was going to email every HR person in the state and tell his lawyer if I didn’t take down my review. I had to call the police to get him to stop. His Google reviews (except for mine) are perfect but his reviews on Yelp and BBB are a disaster, saying very similar experiences to mine. Anyone can buy good Google reviews. If anyone wants to see Fred’s emails to me, I’d be happy to share.
Besides the Monroe police, I have reported him to the BBB, CT Attorney general, and FTC. This person is unstable.
