My name is Jacqueline Brunson and I purchased a plan for $750 through this company which assured me that they could rent out my timeshare in Kissimmee, Florida at $1800 a week. I received numerous offers which I called on and confirmed and yet nothing materialized. A year has since come and gone and there were no offers that paid and unless I contact their office directly, I don’t even hear from you guys anymore. I am a disabled veteran and I intend to give your organization a negative review on every site that is available as well as pass this on by word of mouth to every veteran organization I am a member of so no other trusting veteran is scammed. Shame on you for making promises that you know you never had any intention of keeping!
As with all the other reports from this year I have experienced exactly the same treatment from RTI. I began the process in February of this year and sent them 1437.00 to market my "extra weeks." Over the next few months I eceived a couple offers which I was unable to fill. I called repeatedly to see what I might be doing wrong but the rep assured me I was following instructions.
It is now November and spring of 2018 is lready booking and I have heard nothing. I plan to call them this week and try to get some committment out of them in writing. I have a feeling this is a train wreck about to happen. If I am ever in the Lake Mary florida area I plan to "visit" these folks.
Resort Travelers International is a huge ripoff! For $1,500 Resort Travelers promises that they will supply you with 3 prespective renters each month for a year which will eventually lead to making triple the profit on your timeshare, if rented out. You're lucky if they contact you every 3 months! And it's like looking for a needle in a haystack! One never has the right dates or accommodations, never mind the resorts their clients want within short notice.
I should have known better because any time someone contacts you via phone with "such a deal," you should know right away they're looking for a sucker. If they're any good, you would be calling them.... I just couldn't find any complaints on the internet regarding this company a year ago. However, all the complaints I have read today are completely true.
So, do yourself a favor. Ditch these people post haste! You'll save yourself a lot of money and aggravation.
