This company utilizes disrespectful operational practices to deal with low end mortgage accounts, causing veteran consumers to be left at a disadvantage. On 3 separate occasions, over the past 3 months, the buyer had to request an extension because Ron Riccitelli has refused to prioritize this low end loan and keep the commitments he's made, on behalf of the company, to absolutely lend. The grant buyer has paid for several inspections and appraisals to ensure she receives her first time home. The agents have tried to reach out to the originator get a better understanding as to why this was not identified in the beginning as all other lenders do. This is the professional lending behavior and competence expected by every loan originator. The company, the CEO, and the originator himself, needs to seek ownership for their failure to properly evaluate the ability to lend to this grant buyer. This has made this first time buyer's experience less than favorable while frustrating 3 different agents and the seller.
The VP of mortgage/CEO, Gary Hoyer, was called, while seeking resolution, and he was more concerned about why the call was forwarded to his business cell. His customer service skills and leadership at the top speaks volumes to why the loan originators operate the way they do. His inability to show empathy and demonstrate great customer service/follow up are the reasons I've decided to inform the public of this company's poor practices and how consumers should stay away. He told me to call him back in 30 minutes to resolve this issue and after calling back twice, he refused to take the calls. He knew what I was calling about because I gave him the bottom line up front, just as I've always done as a military Army officer. The dates for all these actions could be provided at a later date. The priority is to get this information out as soon as possible to allow resolution before the next course of action. 24 hrs. This is also being reported at various other consumer sites and business review areas throughout the nation.
