I had been bitten by bugs while i was asleep. I complained to the idiot at the front desk, Ellie and she just blew it off. So i asked for owner and they wouldn't tell me who that was, so i could inform them. I was transferred to another idiot, Samantha, who was acting as a manager, and she blew it of too. DENIAL.
It was obviously bed bugs. We had to throw away everything we brought with us. We saw another review on another site that said the same thing about this hotel. There are also some really bad reviews on yelp at the bottom in ghostly writing under reviews not recommended. They hide the truth.
From 2018 thru 2021 myself and other single mature women were Rent Raped here. Specifically by four to five times the market rate. The average studio rental in Torrance is approx $1,500.00 per month. Yet here they want $5,000.00 per month because they do not want women to stay here and establish tenancy rights here in California.
They breached the contract which was "the longer you stay, the less you pay" They stole from us. They did not provide the most competitive market rate. They constantly harassed us both 80% of the time we lived here via the male maintenance manager. These were more tactics to try and get us to move out.
They do not provide what is promised. We both have become unwell living here from the plethora of noise disturbances of parties and basketball games. We have been constantly interrupted and could never relax. The management does not live onsite here so they have no clue as to what really goes on here at these 31 buildings. There is no management to keep things safe and secure.
They do not keep the commitments they advertise here.
Proceed carefully if you are planning a long stay and do not let them bully you or Rent Rape you for these old and unhealthy arrangements. I could never recommend this place.
