Rescue Rooters are scammers! Unless you have a background in plumbing and know what to expect Do Not use this company. Rescue Rooters tried to scam me out of $11,500 by telling me they needed to dig seven feet and apply shoring in my inter city home. I was told this in order to repair the plumbing in my front yard which had a tree branch going through causing a backup in two of my bathrooms. This was a lie. I found out after a second opinion that only four feet of digging needed to be done which did not require shoring and was 1/3rd the cost. They then cheated me out of there coupon by telling me they had to pull my upstairs toilet to fix the clog and did a botched job sealing it which led to sewer water buckling my ceiling of my down stairs entertainment center and bursting down on to my 70" flat screen tv, my surround sound bar and then onto my carpet. I called them right away and there plumber came back and fixed the botched job their other plumber did and even put on my receipt proving the sewer water was leaking from the badly placed seal around my toilet which he saw for himself.
The company offered to only repair my damaged ceiling and claimed I had previous water damage to avoid replacing my ruined property. I now have to file a lawsuit against Rescue Rooters in order to get my damaged property that they caused replaced.
Our plumping was backed up and we called the first plumber to pop up on google. We had already had this problem 2 days before so we thought the 1st plumber did not do their job right. We called Rescue Rooter and a young man came he was not able to get the snake through all the way going toward the city line. He said the best thing to do was get a camera in there to see the problem. This wasf at 12am so he and his manager come back around 9am. The manager says our pipe was broken and it was located in the second lane. He gave me an estimate of $16,800 said it was very expensive since it was street repair and they had to get permits from the city. He went on to say that it was not that bad, other have paid $25,000! And they happened to have financing. I was talking to my dad about this and he said to call the city because he was sure it was their responsibility. I did and two men came out to check out the location. He brought a whole construction crew and they were working till 6am and we did not have to pay anything! Please beware of this company. If i did not talk to my dad i would have paid all those thousand of dollars.
