Let me qualify this review with the fact that I have a BA in Economics and and MBA in Finance. Recently as bills mounted while completing my MBA I got a "pre-approved" offer for a unsecured loan.
This company is a total joke. The product they really push is the type where you stop paying your bills, destroy your credit, and renegotiate your balance down to maybe 50% while lowering your credit score over 150 points. DO NOT DO THIS ANYONE.
After I quickly dismissed the representative who gave me this option, he told me that because of my good credit I qualified for a "federal government program" and that the loan department would call me with the offer the next day. They called me the next day and told me to get my credit dinged again by their "affiliate lender". Their affiliate lender is PROSPER.COM, seriously? so the same loan you can get yourself they will broker to you for a higher interest rate.
Additionally the only other option is that they will go to a bank and broker you a loan for 9.99% on top of whatever the bank is charging you. If the bank charges 8% you are already back up ti the 18% on the credit cards you are trying to consolidate.
MY ADVICE: Apply for more credit, do balance transfers, eat ramen noodles, save money, pay your bills and NEVER CALL THIS COMPANY. They are not helping anyone, take the time to do your research online and find an alternative to this because you will not save any money in the long run.
Edgar Sanchez is the person that reached out to me by email. The send the info. to the wrong address because the young lady that took it got it wrong, even after I spelled it out for her. Edgar Sanchez called me at 9:00pm to tell me that he was still working on my loan, but that was not the case he was trying to find a company that would loan me the money. You see this is how it works, the are a consulting firm they shop your credit with several different companies and charge you a fee for doing so if you get a loan with them, and when they can't they try to get you to consider a consolidation plan which will DESTROY your credit. They are a big SCAM, please look at the pre-offer that they send you in the mail very closely. What the letter states is that they will help you lower your credit card debit by giving you a loan to consolidate and lower your interest on the cards you have. However, you never get the loan to do that because the claim your debit to ratio is too high. If it was low why would I be getting a loan from them? That is the point why you apply based off there letter or I would not have applied...What a SCAM..everyone should RUN.
