I used the company rentacalc.com to rent a calculator. I ordered the calculator on 01/20/20. The calculator cost $60 that is refunded upon return of the calculator as well as a $6.95 monthly billing fee. I returned the calculator via UPS and have proof of delivery for the calculator arriving on 05/28/20 but I never received confirmation from rentacalc.com that they would close my account and stop billing me and also refund my $60 down payment. I emailed and called rentacalc.com's various contacts. I tried all the phone numbers and the email listed on their website. My attempts to contact them begun on 06/02/20 and I have not received a single reply as of today, 07/27/20. Because they would not respond to me, I cancelled my debit card. They attempted to charge that debit card for June which failed. On my rentacalc.com account page, an "outstanding" payment for $6.95 is owed for 06/20/20 - 07/19/20 despite my calculator being returned on 04/28/20. I expect rentacalc.com to send a collections agency after me for this wrongful debt that I am prepared to dispute. ALSO, rentacalc.com successfully and wrongfully charged $6.95 to my brand new debit card for 07/20/20-08/19/20. In summary, as of 07/27/20, rentacalc.com owes me $66.95 and they have yet to close my account with them after several requests.
