After taking remote control of computer, agent attempted to create panic about thousands of system issues and that I may have a virus. Agent said my system was about to crash, that there was a problem with the Microsoft Built-in Administrator, that I needed to take my computer for repair. After the remote session was done, my computer was not functional. I did a System Restore, then my computer was fully functional again. The purpose and goal of the REIMAGE agent was to get me to pay for a repair program that was not necessary. Agent's name was Mark, #17168

I get a popup from reimage plus saying I have two viruses and a pinching incendent on my PC.

I tried to download reimge computer would not download it.

Most of all it is their annoying popups and pressure buying tactics.

They said that they have to get inside of my computer to check it out. After they found out that I am a computer tech! They said thay would email me the numbers to activate the program, in which never happened. They will try to pressure you into getting inside of your computer, just tell them no, to send you the numbers in an e-mail.

I had been experiencing some intermittent "blue screen" issues with my computer for a couple of weeks when a popup showed up one day from "reimage" offering to run a scan to fix problems with my computer and make it run faster and more efficiently. I was immediately given a phone number to call and the tech told me he would have to take over my computer, which I did not allow, he told me that there were many problems with my computer and he recommended that I take it to OfficeMax or Stapples to have a "professional" fix it and told me what he thought that would cost but offered to have "reimage" fix it immediately for about half the price starting at around $300 but finally dropping it to just over $100, I refused. I was started watching my credit card statement online and the next day found a charge for $41.95 on my statement and I received an invoice from "reimage" via email. Within a couple of days I read an article in the AARP Newspaper about scams like this using almost the same script that "reimage" had used with me. I have challenged the charge with my credit card company but they have now put the charge back on my account. I read the one report here about this company and have found multiple articles, and complaints about this company and this scam.

I downloaded Reimage.com from web. was advised to do this by Microsoft site. the download made 2 collections of money from me one for $32. and one for $19.99 no download then another download and scanned my pc and promised to fix all of problems (unable to installe Windows SP! SP2 Jave.

Their report said I had loads of problems but need to pay $79 to get resolved. I paid then the tech on telephone asked for my password to pc and had techs working on my pc remotely all night. He said they would not only clean pc out but would download all updates and sp1 and sp2 and pc would be just like NEW again. He said "You have 30 days to use Reimage and if not satisfid you get full refund" he gave me phone number for refunds which was bogus

Next day pc not only had NO SP1 SP2 it deleted some of the updates I already had in it.

the printer would not print and other problems were not resoved. I asked for money back I had used Pay Pal

for all payments I finally got back $32 from cleverbridge and $19.99 from upclick I did not use any products

but they wont refund my $79 email from rep Ted.S is attached I have disputed with pay pal.

Having problems with speed in Windows 10, found Reimge in response to inquiring abut speed problems in W 10 and bought a "fix" program for 29.95. As soon as the "fix" was finished I found my computer locked and called the number I had for them1-866-792-0721 and was told they could repair my computer for 149.00. I advised them that I would be speaking with the NYS Attorney General's Office tomorrow (I do consulting work for them). Meanwhile my IT guy can fix it in teh AM and its only my home computer so no big deal. How do we shut these b*ds down, I'm a sophisticated user and gor caught in this foolishness.

On July 4, 2016, I paid reimage $19.95 for pc repair. Upon the reboot process they locked my computer with a security code and then held my computer for ransom. They could fix my problem for $80. Later, I called back and requested a refund, now they could fix my problem for $299.99 per device in my home. These people are theives, nothing more. They actually laughed at the situation. There was alot of background noise in the background everytime I called trying to get someone to help me get back into my computer that they took from me. Finally, I contacted paypal to request my refund and I had to do a complete reinstall of windows to regain access to my computer. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY FOR ANYTHING! I've learned that any kind of pc repair I will never use again. I use windows care all these years for free and that is where I will stay. Beware!

On Nov. 04, 2015 I was notified I had an error and had to check chkdskc"/r Microsoft site.

Then I was told I had to purchase Reimage for $49.99 1-888-802-4497. Downloaded the program and still had problems beyond my knowledge.

Told I needed a technician and it was $199.99 for one year. They would fix and install any Microsoft repairs. The number for the Team Viewer was 1-888-844-3886 Help

I was then given an ID number and a password.

Had problems again on Nov 11th, Repaired damage with Reimage program.

Nov. 20th program Reimage shows Microsoft programs crashing.

ANov. 30th 2015 called the Team Vierw.com #1-888-844-3886.

Appointment made and scheduled time failed to complete . Went on the Chat line to report, and they said they would make it a point that the call be completed. Faied.

Technician Team Viewer.com contacted, made appointment for Dec. 6th they failed to follow through on the appointment, and I rescheduled. Then when they were to start they could not open my computer and I had to give them all the passwords I had used in the past. The schedule failed, and they had me download another program, and I realized I was being charged agaon, and cancelled out, removed the Reimage Program and removed every item to show the Team Veiwer in my viles.

As I worked from day one, I had made copies of everything I did, and I do have all my papers.

The two programs were charged to my Credit Card.

I have worked hard and restored all on my own computer repairs. I am 88 years old, and feel this must be reported, and they should be prosecuted. I pay my repairman $90.00 an hour, but he comp0letes the work speedily, and he does it in my home.

Other numbers they use are:

North America: 1-514-733-2571

United Kingdom +44 20 3051 6860

France +33 9 75 18 02 52

Australia +61 1800 885 962

Germany +49 3056 794924

I hope I have given you enough information to follow up on this, and I thank you.

The company reimage was associated with a Microsoft website for repairing virus problems. When I purchased it, it did not function at all, it did not complete its scan and fix anything. When I tried to get a refund they tried to get me to use a service where they log into my computer remotely.

I was not interested in letting them have access to my computer so I said refund please. I have done that in the past with another "system repair service" and it turned out to be a form of blackmail. After I refused to pay the $175 after they logged off my system had new problems which I had difficulty removing. Reimage never responded to several requests for a refund. The phone support gave me an email address to send the request for a refund. The email address did not exist when I sent to it. The software was running as a MS service and continued to tell me there were problems it wanted to fix. When I let it do so once my system became instable after it ran this time to completion. I had to restore a Microsoft checkpoint to regain access to the internet which it had blocked. THis is a form of blackmail.

Do not install any software from this company.
