I answered an ad online and was selected for the group interivew. They talked about numbers, signing into their dialer,
calls monitored, training training training, leads provided, training training training and more training. This company
is among the many who have opted to avoid their obligation to pay employment tax by simply passing that
expense on to their unsuspecting "IC's". I posted a very obscure out of the way review (so I didn't disrupt their
Google review numbers), and intended on leaving it at that. Then a few months later I got a notice in my inbox
saying many people have seen my review, so I took a peek.
WOW, seemingly out of nowhere several POSTIVE reviews were put up about this company on this particular out
of the way site that takes reviews about businesses, and suprise suprise that's their business: increasing postive online
reviews. I responded again but this time with more specifics about defining an Independent Contractor including
this link which allows anyone to take a quick test to determine if they think they are being classified incorrectly

The owner of the company responed and said I taught him a lot. Really? Why then are you continuing treating
your IC's as employees. Why did my reviews suddenly disappear to the bottom, but all the postive reviews that appeared
within a few days are still up there?Did you pay SJ to remove my review? I'll never know, but here's some advice:
What you need to do is loose the dialer, loose paying for leads, loose anything except:
1. very basic training about the details of the postion. Training someone how to make sales calls makes them
an employee instantly. Training them briefly on product or service info is acceptable.
2. Allow your IC's to get their own leads.
3. Let them call on their own time, without a dialer. YOU OWN THEM when they are on your dialer. You can
monitor their calls, work time, etc. very sneaky, but so many companies are doing this.
So if this guy truly is for real, the owner who reached out to me, he will immediately stop acting as a micro-
manager to his IC's and let them act as IC's. THEN and only THEN will he be free of the ever looming fact that
one day someone will turn him in and suddenly he will need to pay ALL back taxes he cheated out of his unsuspecting
IC's, AND pay his state and federal back taxes, oh and those pesky fines they assess for crooks like him.
Real company?
We're your able to confirm they are a legitimate company otherwise? I can't locate them with a FL business license search.
Independent Contractor
Wow?! Thanks for this helpful info. This company sounds like some fly by night, lame, Craigslist or lamer...Careerbuilder type of IC job.
