I purchased windows 7 ultimate Full version). I got the link and product key quickly but after spending hours downloading the iso, the product key was reported as blocked by microsoft Using the online activation method). Then i tried the phone activation route which was also denied by microsoft.
I immediately emailed redbox, and their response was "sorry, here's another product key" but that key was also reported as blocked by microsoft. At this point i gave up and filed a dispute with my credit card company. Thanks goodness i used a credit card so i could file a dispute. :-)
Redbox is obviously passing off pirated keys or msdn keys or oem keys as "full versions." no wonder their prices are so low.
