My complaint is quite simple on borders on gross incompentence at best or simple utter gross and willful negligience of the law.

Either way Michael Ellison aka Jim Seymour aka JB Bryant aka whatever name they pull out of the hat for the day to use whom I dealt with is an older white male and extremely unprofessional and rude.

I was sent a letter stating I owed an minimal balance while also attached to the letter was the balance that was paid in full by old insurance company who paid the claim once it was corrected. The claim originally filed was inaccurate by the medical lab to begin with.

The amount of money is mininal but the gross practices of Receivable Management Group, Inc. is really something to be desired and should be investigated by all local and state authorities in the state of Georgia.

If they did this to me over an amount less than $20.00 I can only imagine what they are doing to good hard working folks for higher amounts who are being wrongfully lied, extorted or otherwise.

In closing I have the entire paper trail that shows just how inept at best and corrupt at worse that RMG in Columbus, GA is and something definitely needs to be done to this organization.

Not Responsible

I received a collection letter from this company, and believed it to be a complete scam based on the complete disregard to the law and threatening manner to which they attempted to collect on an account that I had undeniable proof I did not owe. The collection attempt was for $19. At this point I am going to file a magistrates action against the company and require them to respond to the action or risk judgement in my favor. Do not be intimidated, instead file in magistrate's court, in your state. In my state (SC) is cost $80 to file and failure to appear will result in the favor of complainant. Make them drive or hire a lawyer to drive to magistrate's court, to defend your action. This should make them meet the requirement of determining validity when requested. This company is a complete joke!

The company named shows no outstanding balance

I received a demand letter from Receivable Management group for $151, but could not recall any services for their named "in behalf of" company. I called the company directly and they show no outstanding balance for my name and birthdate. Beware of this company, it may be fraud.

Recently, I obtained a copy of my credit report and was shocked to find an outstanding collection report from "REC MGT GRP". I have never heard of this company and do not recognize any debt related to them. So, I filed a formal dispute with TransUnion and have not heard back in two months. Upon searching the internet, I found that the "REC MGT GRP" is known as the "Receivables Management Group".

The only report I can contain from TransUnion contains the below information:
