After investing with Realty Shares online platform in early 2017, I shortly realized an increasing higher level of loan defaults and non-payments of interest by Realty Shares from its sponsors. The defaults had reached 67% by the 4th quarter of 2018.
At this time, Realty Shares stated it was no longer taking on new investments. Then payments stopped altogether for a default rate of 95%+. They also laid off or fired all staff and left thousands of investors no way to get answers or find out about the principle they had invested in Realty Shares properties.
I along with many investors demanded the acting CEO, Alexis de Belloy to return emails or phone inquiries. He never did, not even 5 months later. A company attorney insead contacted some investors and stated investment money will be reurned, however this has not happened either.
Essentially, Realty Shares, Alexis de Belloy and any other officers or directors have defrauded its invetsors of 300 - 400 Million and they have gone into hiding. Upon further investigation of my own, I have uncovered properties were marketed and sold with very misleading loan to value ratios and the worth of most properties is far less than in value than the invetsment loan provided.
Realty Shares has closed but you should be very wary of any business dealings in the future from Mr de Belloy or other directors or officers from this defuct company.
