This company is a water/sewer account collection company for the apartment complex where I resided in Murfreesboro TN. I moved out months ago and they continue to take out the monthly fees. when I phone them they insist that my account was closed In January ( it is now July).
They are very cagey...wont give you their address or email address ( I obtained it from the apartment complex). They owe me me 298.92 . Warning do NOT do auto bank drafts with these people. There are numerous complaints about them on the web.
The report asked if I have ever been convicted of a FELONY. Then they deny me for a MISDEMEANOR over 5 years old. I feel like they should have specified ANY criminal history and I would have disclosed that information with them. And they say that was the ONLY reason I was denied. I spent days with realtors from AltiSource looking at properties until I found one suitable for my kids and I. Only for them to deny me for info they NEVER asked for. A FELONY is clearly different from a MISDEMEANOR. Also their report came back that I had a 0 credit score. My credit score is 510.
On August 3 2015 I applied for an apartment complex, I was denied, I figured it was because I owed another complex so I paid it off, I applied for the complex again and was denied again. With in that time I applied to several different complexes and still no luck until the last complex told me that it was my criminal background. I called the Real Page to get a copy of the report. When I received the report it stated that I was a pedophile in Georgia in 2003. !#!#? I never lived in Georgia and the woman was Caucasian and I am Black. The Real page also put a fraud alert on my report so the complexes are looking at me as though I'm lying about who I am when the pedophile and I clearly don't have the same birth dates. I ve been homeless ever since. Need help to get rid of the derogatory page writer.
Whatever you do if you're a landlord or potential renter DO NOT EVER rent from a place that uses RealPage, Inc. messed up services or use RealPage, Inc. as the company that pulls your potential renters credit.
They're being sued in a class action lawsuit that I will be joining because they are denying perfectly good renters acceptance to apartments because of how screwed up their software is. You can read about it below.
I sent them a certified with return receipt letter that they received on 10/13/15 to either delete off the Equifax hard inquiry that I did not authorize them to do or to simly contact Equifax to convert it to a soft pull inquiry so it doesn't show up on my credit reports to lenders that I am apply for a mortgage with.
RealPage, Inc. blew me off with a boiler templated email response and told me to contact Equifax.
They then costed me hundreds of dollars last year (October 2014) when I was wrongly denied at an apartment sublease because the last place I rented from for over 3 years that I has never been late or missed rent and even got a recommendation letter from the manager of the complex. They showed that I had a rent balance and was late three times which the apartment complex NEVER reported to them and was 100% false.
This is also a huge potential liability for landlords/apartment complexes and landlords/owners could be sued for denying a perfectly acceptable candidate because of RealPage's false, old and maliscious information that they report with there system.
