A-team escrow llc got my resume from indeed.com and sent me an invitation to their job position of escrow manager. The position is 9:00-5:00, pays $52,800.00/year plus bonuses, benefits include health, dental, vision, paid sick time and 5 weeks of paid vacation to full and part time " employees ". It states you must undergo 3 weeks of paid training after which you will receive a direct deposit into your bank account and if all tasks are completed and satisfactory you will be officially hired.
I began my 3 weeks of training with a supervisor named courtney duffy Who has a picture of a cat as " her " profile picture. In the first week she stated that since their office isn't officially opened yet i must open a bank account in my name or use my existing one, to receive my direct deposit pay and also to make client transactions from, which was a red flag instantly. They have legal documents that the clients supposedly sign that look legit and fully protect the escrow manager from any fees of any kind. She gave me not much to do in that first week except to submit all my personal information for tax purposes.
Second week she said she has a first client for me who will be depositing $3,500.00 into my account to buy vw car parts and to let her know when funds are in my account and we will walk through the whole process together. That deposit shows pending for 2 days and then cancelled. My bank did not accept it. Red flag #2. After that she gave me nothing to do for days on end saying she's waiting for client to fix things on his end. This went on till the end of 3rd week.
I had asked courtney for a letter of proof of employment for my landlord and she completely ignored it and continued on to say she is still waiting for client to deposit funds. 3 weeks of this. Now i ask her when do i receive my direct deposit as my 3 weeks are up and i want to know what day is payday and she responds that she is still waiting for the client to deposit funds but not to worry, she is here and everything is ok, sorry for the delay but i'm happy to tell you our office will be officially opened march 28,2018. I tried calling the number on the website Which is by invitation only) and it is an answering that states " the person you are trying to reach is not available ".
Then i started searching on the internet on info on this a-team and the better business bureau report came up from february 18,2018, warning everyone about a- team. I also found another Yscam on them. I logged back in and courtney is mia. She responds to nothing. Clearly internet fraud. Please if you're a victim, report this or if you get a job invitation from indeed.com from a-team escrow llc, stay away !!! indeed.com should screen companies who post jobs .
