This is simply not a legitimate business and was a huge pain to deal with for over 10 months. Douglas Heise will live in your home after signing a lease with his 20-something year old son, smoke in your home, and not pay you rent. It took 10 months to sell our home and we lost 2 buyers due to the smoke smell/full ashtrays in the home, not to mention Doug's unemployed son sleeping in one of the bedrooms during 10:30AM showings. Realtors and neighbors confirmed. Additionally, I had multiple HOA complaints and fines while Doug lived in the house due to overgrown lawn, bushes, trees, etc.
After asking Doug to move out of the home, he refused to and later told me and my realtor that he was broke with no where to go. Then, once the house finally sold and Doug made $30k, he refused to pay the $6k in back rent owed. At one point Doug tried to hold my rent ransom for a positive video review for him (he would only pay rent owed if I sent him a positive video review). I hope this review prevents the wasted time, cost and frustration happening elsewhere.
