Real-Clear-Skin.com Reviews

I got an emamil disguised as "Costco" free trial offer with a list of 5 or 6 items to choose from. I chose the facial cream and eye cream. Both were labled as "14 day trial" versions and the only needed cost was the shipping of $4.95 on the 17th of June. The fine print (unkowingly) stated that if she didn't notify the company in 14 days that she would then be charged and enrolled into a monthly supscription. This information is stated nowhere on the front end of the free trial page I was referred to. Free is free. Period. By the way, the label on the jar of the product I received is not the same as the label on their website. The free trial product I got is called "SkinFreshMD". If you go to their website, that jar is labeled "New Life"

On July 14th, I was then charged $97.67. My husband called the company to say the charge was a mistake. He was told that I had agreed to terms and conditions (there weren't any) of auto-enrollment. They immediately offered the product at 50% off, which he refused. They stated that what I got was just a sample and that I would be receiving a "much larger" sized container in the next few days. It's July 26th and I've received nothing.

I call the company myself today to state that I never received anything more and I want a full refund. Again, the first thing the company tried to do is offer the product to me for a substantially reduced price of 30% off. I told them "I don't think you're comprehending me, I'm out of auto-enroll but am still owed the product for the July 14th billing". This representative then proceeded to tell me that the sample was the item and that they showed I received it and that if I didn't return the sample by the required date, then they would bill me. There are 2 different scams going on. 1) here's this product and just pay for shipping - oh and you're now auth-enrolled" 2) you don't receive anything more, but you get billed for the 'free trial' if you don't return it within a certain amount of days.

I continued with the representative on the phone for approximately 20 minutes reiterating that I am owed the $97.67 refund. She continued to refuse. I asked to speak with the representatives supervisor or some time of management 4 times to no avail. I was told "we're all under the same authorization so they won't tell you any differently." I asked again and she said the same thing.

After telling the representative that I will be filing a report with the BBB as a scam and contesting the charge to my credit card company, reported this purchase as a scam to her credit card company then the representative agreed to a refund after they accept the product back in the mail. They provided me refund authorization #'s for each product.

After all this, I did a search for the product and found the exact same thing on Amazon for $33.99 plus free shipping.

Free enterprise is one thing, however, this is true misleading price rape. Add this to the runaround that the company attempted to force upon the purchaser and play like there's no way out... is truly criminal.

This company is operating under fraudulent business practices. Do not do business with this company and don't give in to the offer. Again, it is a scam.
