I've been using this card and company for years now and never had a major problem until someone used my card unauthorized. My account was hacked at least I thought after self-investigation, I found out this company has unsecured websites and your card info is easily obtained by cyber hackers!! After noticing transactions that I had no idea about I immediately called them. Explained to them that I have my card in my possession and I'm the only authorized user and no one knows my pin or info. They tells me they will cancel my card and then the dispute began. They tell me that my card was swiped and my pin was entered. I still can't understand how when my card never left my possession. Upon my own investigation, comes to my mind you have to enter your entire card number and pin to access your account online on their unsecured website and by that way cyber hackers obtained my info easily. So I go a police report gave them the info of the location my card was apparently swiped at and they told me upload my documents proving it wasn't me who used my card. So now I have to give them 10 days to investigate. I kept calling to check on the status of my dispute and I always get a person I can hardly understand on the phone. They told me they couldn't issue a refund or replace my money because they didn't detect fraud. When the transactions was 10hrs away from me and I used my card within 2hours of the hack according to my transaction history.

This is the worse company to ever deal with I know they get insurance for things like this they should of offered to give me my money back asap they first should of froze my card being that the transactions was from a place I never even heard of until now. So after a bitchfit with supervisors and asked for the president they tell me I can wait for the president to call me back. I never received that call so I get a text message saying they will give me a credit of my disputed charges within 1 business day. However I had my job checks direct deposited to this account as well I asked them since they suspended my account for investigation do I need to cancel the direct deposit they said no they can open the card up so I can get my money off however wen my check was deposited I called them and they told me they can't open the card up they can only send me a replacement card and transfer my funds onto the new card that I have yet to receive then they tell me my check was sent back to sender! I'm so angry because of them I have yet to receive my work check cuz of this whole mess. They tell me to go and buy another card and register it and they can transfer my money to the new card however the only people sell them is dollar general. Wen I get to dollar general to buy the card they tell me the computer says the cards are prohibited from sale and needs to be taken off their mark IMMEDIATELY. So I call them back to understand why and they tell me they can only send me a card that the retail stores can't sell their cards anymore like really wtf. After getting an structure with them they offered to mail me a check which will take an additional 10 days no way I'm a so many buyings right now it's sad. I don't have 10 days to wait on my money. I will never in my life ever deal with this company or refer them to anyone. I have real animosity with this card company!!!

This year I purchased a ReadyDebit Gold card. Since I do not like the idea of making purchases or providing my card number to my bank account to any one I have a prepaid card for said purposes. Until now I have been able to load and use the card just fine and never had a issue, well over a couple thousand dollars in fact. I had chosen to receive my tax return upon said card due to a recent decision to switch banks for the bank I am currently working with is not very small business friendly.

Prior to the deposit with the tax return I had loaded 1,000 for the purpose of bills and had paid with no problems. When I try to get logged in after being notified that my taxes should be received I had an error message to call customer service. This is when I first am told that I must fax over proof of identity. Demanding that I provided my electric bill, ID, and signed social security card. Not having a copy of my social security card since my last one was stolen with my wallet a while back I asked if legal documents showing my name and social would be sufficient and was told YES.

I was also informed my tax return was deposited, and that after I had sent my documents would be available that afternoon. Immediately after I sent the requested information and later called back. At this time I was told that the approval process can take any where from 24 to 72 hours. The reason for this, unknown. The only way I can do anything was to wait. That the person who reviews and either approves the documents is unable to answer your questions as to the lack of phone or incoming calls. And until I was reviewed my account was closed, yet when I opened the card I was never asked for the documents nor to provide them at any time prior to the locking of my account. If the validity of my identity was so important why had I never been told that I needed to provide the document.

Since the event I have been hung up on, ignored, lied to, when I ask for a supervisor I am put on hold for 3+hrs or the same associate answers changing their name. Not a single person can provide you with their job title, nor can they do anything. I'm sure that the company is committing fraud and the failure to follow let alone know anything about the federal and state regulations that govern how they work makes me feel an investigation is beyond necessary.
