Read2Move pick up fellows sermed nice, clean cut and professional. Their delivery guys were a nightmare.
They changed my delivery day at last minute to a Sunday, and said they could not get their truck thru my CubeSmart storage facility gate and would offload my things onto a large UHaul truck (I was told later by CubeSmart manager they had absolutely lied to me). I was there by myself at storage locker to meet them. I kept asking about and ottoman and a lamp and the 'boss' of the 2 ignored me over and over.
Finally I got demanding about it and he vaguely remembered ottoman and gave me the reply they'd bring it 'tomorrow'. He'd already told me they had to deliver to me a day early because they had other scheduled drop offs further south. So I told him 'no mañana stuff with me...TODAY'.
Then they are having a loud shouting fit with me because the big company truck was 45 minutes away....I wonder why they parked that far away??? Also, they had a box of mine, marked with a sticker of mine, in the cab of UHaul, and I had to fight them to get it! I told him I would follow him to the big truck...he was NOT happy. But I drove right behind them. When I got there, I jumped up in the side of company truck and my boxes were everywhere...things they planned on me not finding. Also my ottoman. Marked with one of my green stickers. And a comforter in a clear plastic carrying case.
One big parking lot shouting battle. Me with a gun hidden in my pocket, and cell phone ready to call the police. They still would not agree to load MY boxes and ottoman into UHaul until I pulled my SUV against the back of the company truck, blocking it in. After several minutes of more shouting back and forth, they loaded all marked as mine, that I could see in dark truck, into UHaul.
I told them I would drive right behind them, and if they took one wrong turn, my finger was on 911 speed dial. 45 minutes later, back at my locker, they were cursing and talking only in Spanish...what little I could hear. I'm nearly deaf, btw. But those things were delivered. Never saw big dark brown lamp.
Though the very expensive gift lamp I never saw. Only the shade! Their office blew me off on the first dozen or so calls...stall stall stall...they have never admitted those delivery guys stole and tried to steal more. That the delivery guys got threatening with me.
They are horrible people. A horrible company. I'd recommend all to AVOID them, don't listen to Sasha or Derek, and ladies by themselves in particular are targets.
