I spoke with the IRS who confirmed they deposited my income tax refund on May 4th in this ready debit account . So I call ready debit who to my surprise , informed me that my account was closed without warning(how convenient). They claimed to have returned the funds as of May 2. Now how in the **** they returned it on the 2nd of May when IRS didn't send it until the 4th. I am a single homeless mother who has been anxiously awaiting this return to provide a roof over my children and my head but this low down ratchet business has hurt my chances. My first concern is why hasn't this company informed me of any issues before my account was closed and secondly, why aren't the dates matching. I am desperately in need of my money but also id like to find an Attorney to head a class act lawsuit to put a stop to fraudulent practices from this crooked company. I want to hurt them like I see they've hurt others. Please please please help me.
I noticed fraudulent charges of about $200 from Houston Texas circa September 2017 on my prepaid debit card, so called ReadyDebit to report this. They instructed me to obtain an Error Claim Form from web address readydebitgold.com/disputeforms/disputeforms.html and to fax the form to their fax 925 217 0052.
I sent this fax on October 9, 2017. All of this took several hours because the Customer Service people have accents which are almost impossible to understand so I asked them to repeat themselves and to speak slowly. By the way, my hearing is perfect; but their English is almost unintelligible.
When I called back enquiring on status, the "Customer Service" people said they'd never received that fax. The Customer Service woman told me to upload the Error Claim Form to upload.accountnow.com

Please enter a valid account number. Your account number is different from your 16-digit card number. It contains 11 to 14 digits and is not the same as your 16-digit card number. You can obtain this number by calling our automated phone system at 1-866-925-2036 or by logging into your account in our online customer center.
*** so I think, okay, if I need an account number, I'll log into my account at readydebitgold.com. When I do that (and the system recognizes my card number and PIN when I log in), then I don't see anyplace on the website where there shows any 11 to 14 digit account number. So okay, I call the automated phone system 866-925-2036 but that automated telephone system does NOT recognize my card number and does nOT recognize my Social Security number. So there obviously is a discrepancy between the readydebitgold.com website, which DOES recognize my card number,
and the automated phone system, which does NOT recognize my card number.
**** SO NOW WHAT?? ***
I call Customer Service: 1.866.907.7531 same deal, the person has some accent which is just about impossible to understand. I have called several times since October 2017 and have received no satisfaction. At one point the so-called Customer Service people said they were mailing me a new card, since the original card has been hacked/misused, but I never received a new card. Neither have I received any credit or recompense for the $200.
