I received a phone call identifying themselves as a subsideryof RCI which I am a Time share woner since late 1990 I fierdst declined as i stated my twin sister had just passed and I did not nor coud i think of vacations They said it is transfereable for free and I did not have to take dvantage at this time to book.I even tried to call and cancel a few eeks ;af]ter and they d\stated you fully understood and it was taped...I asked for it to be played for me ...and you could hear nme repeatidly asking 'what" excuse me " but they kept talking I even pointed this out when I called to say No I do not want this ..but again they insisited it was fully explained to me and I had no recorse to cancel !
. Theye advsied me the cruise was for well known lines and avaiulablity was good as was balconey or better with no extra fee except the usual tax and port fee. I did this agreement in May 2014 and Never looked at the site until this past week Boy was I surprised and shocked . The fees are well above the usual rack rate fo rteh cruises ...including upgrade fees of even 5,000 dollars per person for certain cruises . I am on a fixed disabikity income and feel/beleive I was railraoded into false advertisement in saying no additional fees when there are ,.The one week vacation is sub par to my ususal time share I own ..with no avaulability..I feel like such an idiot and have paid them 109 per month ...and will be finished in Dec 2015 ...for what ? They offer nothing of what they said on teh ohone ..they said they were aqffiiates with RCI timeshare of which I am a memenber but I doubt this !
I do not wnan to be rioped off by lies and yet here I am looking at their page of xxruises and sayng..this is impossible !
i never should have even spoke to them in my grief of losing my twin ...and I never should have belived tehm or thier lies ..But here is am and I need help to get my money refunded as they lied terriblly to me asn I could never afford tier cruises as they are above teh customary rates when they stated they were below and the hoel stays are horrific with kown low trade value
Please advise what options I have to pursue this..They also sent me no paper work outlining the rukes or regulations for me to investigate on my own Please help me
