Customer made a comment about purchasing this sofa for an open house due to the room looking empty. She stopped speaking mid-sentence as though she caught herself saying something she didn't want to be heard. Notating this incident and reminding this piece is clearance, therefore AS-IS and cannot be returned. Do not allow a return on this piece under any circumstance.
I sold my house (FINALLY AFTER A THEFT FROM A OPEN HOUSE W/AGENT THAT WE FIRED RIGHT AFTER) and a few weeks later, a police report for an attempted break-in from a broken window latch we did not know about. I was researching items that have a transferable warranty for our buyers. I AM SO UPSET TO SEE THESE NOTES, SO BOTHERSOME AND I do recall buying this loveseat.
We struggled for 2.5 years to sell our house and had an almost offer selling major furniture off, to only buy whole house furnishings all over again. We literally bought thousands of dollars worth of furniture from R.C. Willey and NEVER took anything back and always sold privatley if we wanted to sell it.
I (the wife) feel so awful that I am reading these notes on our account from the sales person, to feel so low and violated. I WILL never buy from them again. I think we have spent over the past 12 years, as well as buying and selling homes every 2-3 years, like $20K-$30K or more and this is how WE get treated. Ohhhh... I feel so lousy and betrayed as a loyal card holder!
HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! On 3.12.18, I ordered an extra counter high chair to go with the dining set I purchased from RC Willey for $899.00. I was advised it would be delivered 3.22.18. I called and was advised it should be delivered by 4.4.18. When I spoke to the customer service representative (and I use that term loosely), I advised her that RC Willey's website states, 'Awaiting Pickup'. The NON-customer service representative had a very bad tone and advised she does not know why, but it is still on back order. I called again on 4.5.18 and was advised it is STILL on back order and the estimated delivery time is now 4.9.18. This is RIDICULOUS! I will NEVER purchase anything from RC Willey again and I will tell everyone I know NOT TO PURCHASE from them. Amazingly, I ordered an entertainment center from Wayfair on 3.18.18 and received it on 3.22.18. I placed a large order from Bed Bath & Beyond on 3.23.18 and received it on 3.30.18. Why is it that a big company such as RC Willey cannot provide their customers an accurate delivery time frame. It has been almost a month and I still have not received A CHAIR! DO NOT GO THERE. THEY ARE OVER PRICED WITH HORRIBLE SERVICE!
I've shopped with RC Willey for almost 30 years. My recent purchase, a sectional, has been a nightmare from the beginning. I have been given promise after promise that someone would return my call and give me assistance, with NO success. I called our sales person for three months, and never received a return call. I've been in to the University Mall location to raise a concern, and was given the run-around. I've been placed on hold to be told that a "supervisor" would call me back. I am still waiting.
I've been in the design industry for many years and have never seen worse quality and customer service. I love the color, shape, size of this sectional and have designed my whole room around it, and would be a happy customer if it wasn't complete junk. The fabric must never have been market-tested because it just doesn't hold up. The seams are off by up to 5 inches and the chenille textile is prone to holes and stretching. I have 2 adult children and the sectional receives very little use, but it looks like it's been jumped on for 20 years by a lot of kids. The family room furniture I bought 18 years ago looks great in comparison and is in far better condition than this "new" sectional.
Interestingly enough, I've had 2 technicians (the only RC Willey representatives that have ever called me, and that was to give me a window of time for the service call) come out to try to fix the situation, and both have agreed it looks terrible. The first tech told me that his sister had the same sectional, but in a different fabric, and it was fine. He even divulged that he had been on many service calls for this particular problem. I've been given promises for a long time. I traditionally do not post online, but this has become a situation that must be shared. Buyer beware: RC Willey is happy to take your money, but once you leave the store, you are on your own.
Two years ago we purchased a nearly 3k mattress and box spring set here in Vegas. Lately, we have been sinking in specific areas of the bed. Obviously, I called RC Willeys and they quickly sent out and 3rd party (Yeah right) inspector, to inspect our mattress! The guy showed me where our mattress had sunk 1 inch on one side of our bed.... ! So today, I get a letter from RC Willeys saying, that my bed frame should have more support and that they are denying my claim because of it! Are you kidding me?? My bed frame is of solid Madagascar wood!!! It weights 800+lbs!!! Not to mention my husband and I are of average weight and height..... and none of our THICK (Non- RC Willeys) slats are bowing or improperly placed! What more structure do you want RC Willeys...? I will gladly show you the trashy queen bed frame that was purchased from you.. And the paper thin slats that barely hold my pre-teen son up!!! They sell garbage and they DO NOT actually warranty anything! Yet they are closed on Sunday for religious reasons....Hummmm, I call bull ***!!!!
