On December 26,2014 I purchased a 2004 silver Chrysler Sebring from a used car broker. Whose company name is jorney Rides LLC. The owners name is Raymond Broomfield. What happened was, I had $2000 cash on me ready to purchase a car, and my dad had found this particular car on Craig's list. so what we did was meet up with Raymond in a opened parking lot. The address at the time was 36 Hwy 138 W Suite 102 Stockbridge Georiga 30281.We arrived at the parking lot where the car was, my dad and I looked around the car it was in great shape we looked inside the car it was in good shaped we also looked under the hood of the car and that was good shape. What we did next was test drive the car it drove very nice. After all of this I told Raymond that I wanted to buy it so my dad and I went into his office where we meet his wife Latoya Broomfield she was in charge of the paperwork and the transaction. I paid $2000 cash for this car and an additional $18 for the tag which she told me that i would receive in the mail. I drove off with the car purchased and paperwork in hand, he put the temporary tag in the car before I drove off, good until Febuary 09,2015. When the day came for me to get my tag the agent at the DMV told me that Journey Rides did not send them anything so they told me to call him but before I called the agent gave me another temporary tag good for March 11,2015 and once i called Raymond he gives me all kind of excuses of why the title is not where its supposed to be. And now Im trying to get this title in every angle possilble cause right now Im not getting anything from Raymond, not answering any of my phone calls nothing. I'm done with him and I'm taking him to court but I just don't know how to do it or where to start.
I’m so sorry for your ordeal. From what I have experienced, Raymond Broomfield is a dishonest business man in the car and home renovation business, while operating as a licensed handyman and no license regarding car or home renovations if that is required in the state of Florida.
I'm sorry for the terrible situation you've endured. Hopefully, this is not the same Raymond Broomfield in Bunnell, Florida who does home and home and car renovations in Volusia County, FL.
This is terrible. Hopefully, this isn't the same Raymond Broomfield, as mentioned above, living in Bunnell, Florida. If so, a license is required, as he does home renovations, and car restorations.
I'm sorry for what you have endured. Florida law does require Raymond Broomfield to be licensed as a Contractor in home renovations, not sure about car restorations.
I'm sure this must have been a horrible experience. Florida law requires a license for home construction/renovation, not sure about the car restorations. If this is the same Raymond Broomfield, it appears he resides in Bunnell, Florida at 137 Water Oak Road. I'm sorry for what you have endured. May justice prevail for you.
It sounds like this person, Mr. Raymond Broomfield, is a scammer and ripoff artist. From Florida law, it does appear that his profession as a construction builder/home renovator, he must be licesensed, not sure about the car renovations. If he is the same Raymond Broomfield, he resides at 137 Water Oak Road in Bunnell, Florida. Best of luck. I'm sorry for what you have endured.
It sounds like this man is a real scammer, professionally and personally. Hopefully, Mr. Broomfield will be brought to justice in Georgia and Florida. May those he has hurt professionally, and personally, see justice and karma come to fruition.
