So here is my story, I purchased a breeding adult under contract from Sherry Snyder who I found out her real name is Cheryl Sprott of Ravendox dachshund in Floresville Tx. Gabby never bred. Her contracts guaranteed a replacement. Her and I have always had a great relationship. I told her I was in no hurry. When ever she had a choc. Or a dapple female I would take that. Gabby is an English cream. She agreed. 2 years passed. Sherry has had quite a few of them! Now COVID hits and I can afford flights. So I’m ready to come get my promised dog. Suddenly she tells me that she talked to other breeders who say a bunch of what I see as Bs. Because the contract says I get a FREE replacement. I offered her Gabby who we love despite her aggression towards puppies and she said no.
And I have been patiently waiting . She has had 2 years. And now she stopped returning my phone calls and text messages and Unfriended me on her business page ... where I go on anyway and guess what,, I see the litter I was promised being sold... and people asking if pups are available and she says yes and is Pm prices... and deleting my comments asking if it’s my puppy or not!!! so WTF is that!
Very poor ethics if you ask me. You are only as good as your word! I helped her home adults she couldn’t sell etc.. there was no reason for her to screw me over for a lousy few thousand on a dog. I wouldn’t do business with her again. Clearly her health guarantee isn’t worth the paper it’s printed on! I’ve gotten other complaints about Sherry in my scammers group and never posted them in fact I defended her because I believed her. But I guess now the truth is out. I’m not the only person getting screwed over. I fact the puppy she finally did offer me which I eventually said fine I’ll take even though it’s so much lesser in quality and she then disappeared of messenger and never gave me the puppy... well the mom has no papers so how was I gonna get my full AKC? I paid for a breeding English cream female!
She took advantage of our friendship and got greedy with sales.
Unethical BREEDER and Unethical person not to make this right. I’m writing to the BBB, rip off report and every forum that will listen because I’ve been quiet for 2 years.
After jerking me around more she then wants to refund me me...
by this point I’ve already told her hell I’ll take a boy because I’m retiring JP soon. Doesn’t have to be a girl. But she wants to refund the money.
But what I paid 4 years ago for Gabby now 5 and what a replacement for an English cream female is very different so I don’t think that’s fair. I simply want what she promised me for the last 2 years. I’m even gonna fly to pick it up from NY to Texas! I get that she is now charging double for her puppies just because of COVID-19 and doesn’t want to lose the money but like WTF.
