A Job service Jobhunter service posted RateTranz as a possible job I might be interested in based on my background in trucking. The job service posted it. I'm thinking there is some legitamacy to it. They were charging a minimal fee to get started and used a repub=table company (DHL) to hide behind. Each week they are to have scheduledlive trainings. Well last week I tuned in to hear nada, nothing , zilch. And it is difficult to try and call someone in the HR department/ Ive only paid $199 so far . I am yanking my card so they can't bill be anymore. $99. till its all paid for in the nnext couple of months.
AVOID this company! Breaking into becoming a Freight Broker can be an expensive uphill battle crooks like RateTranz make out like bandits.
First, they change their policies to suit their needs and pretend the policy has been in place all along. I requested a refund of $199 which initially I was told paid all expenses. Later when I asked for a refund I was told "on the website it clearly lists it's non-refundable---which the site does NOT clearly state this.
Then after being told the $199 pays for all fees (for a year) I get told there is an $49.95 fee that I must pay each month if I'm not moving freight. But if I am moving freight RateTranz will pay the $49.95 for me. Since they like to change their minds and redo policies that only supports their needs I doubt this one is true.
The software has a flaw--- I not able to add in accounts in and do test accounts. [continued below]....
