These combined companies working together sent me products that I did not order at all, or sent more products than I ordered to pad the billing. They promised a refund but never gave me one. Their website was so infected with confusing and decepting screens that it was impossible to know what was being ordered. They violated the government-imposed mandates that require them to offer every buyer a summation page listing all the products ordered and the individual and total cost for these products. This protection requires a summary list of products and pricing to be the last item the buyer sees before authorizing the the purchase. This buyer was denied this final accounting before he ordered.
An affiliate of this company , Ship Smart LLC dba Jetpack was investigated for "deceptively marketing cognitive improvement supplements using sham news websites containing false and unsubstantiated efficacy claims, references to non-existant clinical studies and faudulent consumer and celebrity endorsements. ...the defendants used affiliate marketers to make deceptive claims about their products which they sold using different names..."
The Federal Trade Administration complaint and subsequent settlement with the defendants banned the defendants from engaging in this conduct. The defendants all signed off on this requirement.
Yet it is this reporter's experience that the defendants are still committing these crimes.
Defendants' internet advertisement seen by this reporter claimed a new diabetic treatment endorsed by noted MD Dr. Oz. This is untrue and the use of Dr. Oz's fraudulent endorsement was withdrawn by the defendants. Between 2012 and 2017 the defendants stole millions of US dollars from victims and agreed to pay a $14 million and a $11 million judgements to the FTA on April 10,2019.
