In May of this Year I purchased a car from Rankl & Ries of Canton. The salesman was kind enough to have the windows down and the car running for me.He told me where to turn at each road. Nice smooth roads and back to the dealership. I wanted a small car that would be good on gas as I am a 68 year old who is on a fixed income. I felt that these people were decent since I had never heard any bad about them.So I put my trust in them to do right by me. I decided to buy the car and went to the office to sign the papers. Dan was already printing them out and told me to make sure the address was right. He told me where to sign and kept the papers coming at me and never explained anything to me. My mistake for trusting him Here I had signed a warranty thinking it was the warranty they had on the car because he never explained that he had added it.I also realized they had sold me a car that a cat had sprayed in.That was great for the summer months. Said he would have someone call me to set an appointment to fix the smell. Another lie. Never happened.I went back to cancel the warranty and was told by Dan that the reason he added it was because I received a better rate on the loan.I told him I wanted to cancel it and at the time I was already having issues with the car. Worried that it might be the transmission. He told me that I would have to pay two to three thousand dollars for the transmission.So of course that was a scare tatic to keep the warranty.I had also talked to him about the car because of it riding really rough that I ask him to help me with another car because I have a bad back and am under doctors care. He said he would call the bank and get back with me on friday. Never called. Called him monday said he was dragging his feet because the bank wouldn"t do it He kept telling me that he was going to help me but never did. I called the bank and found out that the warranty never helped me out on my loan rate that was just one of his lies.Ladies don't go there by yourself unless you check them out and read everything they print out. Don"t let them give you a bunch of crap and tell you they are there for you because it is just another lie.I now have to have surgery and have posts put in my back and won't even be able to use my car.
