Random Acts of Insanity Reviews

  • Jul 6, 2020

I had never seen an improv show by Random Acts of Insanity until last year and was disgusted with the racist and sexist behavior of the so-called "comedy troupe". A lot of jokes are made at the expense of racial minorities and women, rape victims, and people with disabilities. They've done skits based on African slave boats and the Holocaust while black people are in the audience. They've made fun of disabled people while trying to get their money.

The troupe is led by a man named Andrew Ramos and I've heard and seen accounts that RAI has had to change members every year because of the drama he causes. Andrew is obsessed with getting famous despite his Google results publicly exposing him for being a racist and creep. He kicks anyone who calls him out, or whoever he feels his "fame" is threatened by, out of his troupe and bans them. Andrew is a man in his late 30's who attempts to date teenage girls he tries to pick up at his improv shows.

I found this out because I began asking questions about them after seeing a particularly offensive show. It turns out they have a history of harassment. Andrew has banned and harassed women who have spoken out against rape, pornography, and degenerate sex culture because he is more or less openly supportive of it. Both women with far-left feminist and right-wing views have been harassed by the male members of the troupe in the past. Andrew also has taken charity money from the disabled while pretending to support them, probably taking cues from good ol' Hollywood there.

There have been several activists exposing the Daytona Beach comedy scene for sexual abuse and prostitution, and now I'm glad to say I'm among them. F*ck RAI, I'm never supporting them again after dealing with their offensive and abusive bullsh*t.
