Purchase a 2006 Ford Escape for $12000.00 with $800 down March 2015. I knew this was way to expensive, but had credit issues and needed a car for work. I should have known the business was unprofessional when I was a witness to the male employee physically pulling the female employee by the hair, hitting her in the face. I made him stop and stayed to make a witness report with the police. I've had know payment issues until August 2016 I drive school buses did not work this summer. Made company aware I would be making $100 payment instead of my usual $200 bi-weekly payments. I was told this would be ok just try not to be to far behind. I still received calls everytime payment was due, and continued to make them aware of my situation. Very frustrated that apparently this is not being noted. I've had full coverage with the same insurance agency for over 3 years.
I received a call on August 7th asking for payment. I told the employee I would began work Aug 22nd and at this time I could only bring in $50 today or Monday. Again, I was told that soul be noted and would be fine. At this point I was $200 behind and the new payment for $200 just hit. I was also told she was unable to verify my insurance and she was not told why. I offered to email, fax a copy of insurance information. I was told she would try again following business day, Monday. I called insurance company and was told she did not have my updated mailing address. When I called back to make her aware of the information I received they were closed. Aug 8th my car was repo'd. I had a remaining balance of $4,448 and was told I had to pay balance in full because the finance company, their finance company dropped me. I asked to speak with anyone regarding options for me to pay off remaining balance and got blank faces. I am disgusted! Now school has started and I am without transportation. I even offered putting $1000 on the remaining balance so that I can pick up payments to finish paying off my car. They have refused my offer. There has to be something that can be done.
