QuoteWizard Reviews

I signed up with this company after an associate of mine had told me they were offering a match on calls. It seemed like a good deal so i went for it and signed up with $350 which they matched. They were supposed to send me exclusive calls set to pre-determned filters. The first issue was that i was receiving calls that did not meet my filters and then denied a credit on those calls because calls are non-refundable.

But the real issue i have complained to the bbb, and am now writing this Yscam is that their calls were not exclusive. I received a call at 1:34 on october 19th. I was on the phone at the time and unable to switch over, so the call went to voicemail. I was subsequently charged, and later found that this call did not meet my filters, and they denied a credit for it.

Shortly after, while speaking with the associate who referred me to quote wizard, i found out he had received the same call, seconds after i did. He got the call at 1:35. Same caller, still ineligible, and he got charged. When i figured all of this out, i tried calling nly to find out the whole office was on their "lunch hour" a 3:55pm. Odd, but ok. I emailed support and my sales rep and was told by support that there was some kind of technical glitch and that's why this happened. But they assured me calls were exclusive.

Now how do i know that? How am i suppsed to believe that when after 10 calls in 1 week, 1 of them went to a second agent? How do i know that others also didn't go to a 2nd agent? I had 2 others that went to voicemail, and as far as i know it, both could have gone to other agents as well. There is simply no way for me to know for sure, and i should not have to accept their word after already proving fraudulent.

I filed a complaint with the bbb, but since that organization is a joke, the complaint was closed even though i was never offered a satisfactory result. Somehow, even though there are 66 complaints agaunst quote wizard on the bbb website, and 46 negative reviews, they manage to have an a+ rating. That goes to show you what a joke the bbb is.

After my complaint was closed, i wrote a review. Why shouldn't i be allowed to write one, right? But the company is arguing my review should be removed because the bbb closed my complaint in their favor. Then i get an email stating the company is claiming i am not their customer. I logged in to my account to find they have closed my account without my express knowledge. They refuse to refund anymore than the $70 i had in the account after telling me that at this point i have only used my cash, and none of their provided match. So i spent $280 on 8 calls that for all i know were sent to a 2nd agent. I just received the final statment on my account which is now officially closed even though i didn't agree to that. At the least, i should have been able to use the promo money and been able to make my money back. But nope. They closed the account of their own accord so they can say i am not their customer.

Nice.

So if you choose to deal with this company, you need to know what kind of company you are dealing with.

I contacted the company to find out about their services. I asked direct questions about their internet lead program to Matt my assigned sales person. The questions I asked and asked more than once were 1. Are these exclusive real time leads? 2. Are they quality leads? 3. Are the close ratios good? Matt's response was YES, YES and YES. After a few days of dodging his phone calls I finally figured I would give them a try because my IMO was sending out their info advertising a Christmas special. I figured since my IMO was doing that than I should feel comfortable with doing the deal. I called Matt and made a 500.00 deposit. Once it was all completed Matt informed me a 2nd time that there was no refund. This is where I started feeling nervous. All but two leads I have got so far have been bogus leads. The two people I spoke with , one said he had been receiving massive amounts of calls about health insurance and he never requested that but was curious about life, however he said he was not aware that he would get a call from anyone but was under the impression it was info that would be emailed or mailed to him. The other lady was just as surprised when I called her. These were the two, GOOD leads I got lol. The others mostly were bad numbers, bad contact info and many people claimed that they never filled anything out at all. These were the ones that got me the most upset. They were sincerely confused and wanted to know how and where I got their info. I have worked internet leads for years of various types, debt leads, mortgage leads and recruiting leads. All internet leads are typically more difficult than other types of leads but I have never experienced leads this bad in my career. The consumers seemed sincerely upset and that I did not like because it makes me ( A licensed agent) look bad and opens up a potential complaint situation against my license. The CSR's at Quote-wizard have a come back for everything you say to them. Like- We just need to tweak or make some changes to your area or whatever. Nothing ever changed. They will for the most part give you credit for bad leads, providing they meet their criteria but all this does is lead to the inevitable place where you realize nothing is going to change and your wasting your time. After a few bad lead credits the system makes you call in to get credit and this is where the fast talking excuse makers tell you whatever as quickly as they can so you cant complain as they give you credit. I don't know about you but I don't have the time to constantly be calling these guys asking for credit and they know this. Again this is their hopes that eventually you will give up and move on. Or maybe they can sell you in to trying another round, you know like the carnies who convince you that you can knock the bottles down or throw the ringer or what ever the scam is while you keep pumping dollars out because you are determined to win that XXXX large stuffed animal for your kid who will never play with it anyway, but you are relentless. Same deal here. Look buyer be ware. Had my IMO not advertised for them I would have looked them up before sending them money. My bad.

I have been in the life & disability insurance field since 1984 and to date I have never been so displeased with the consumer leads I purchased from QW. Out of 17 leads all but 6 are bogus and I suspect that the others are bogus too, I managed to reach only one person out of the six left who actually was looking for life insurance and I will see them tomorrow BUT these leads are the type of leads that lead people into filling out the form for other incentives besides getting life insurance quotes. Most all of them said that they never filled anything out and a few others said that they were induced into filling out the form for other than life insurance quotes.... Total rip off and they will never see the likes of my business ever again. they got me for $200 and these leads are BAD! Don't do business with them, you will be sorry.

Quote Wizard is a complete ripoff for insurance agents as a way to purchase leads. As I've seen in other reports, they must get these leads from lists and none of the leads I spoke to actually requested an insurance quote. I tried exclusive life leads and home leads and I was not able to quote one person. By the time I had contacted them they had already received 10+ phone calls from other agents and had no idea how i received thier information. Most of the time, these call got real abusive because the person I was calling was tired of getting calls.

I can go on and on but do not waste your money like I did. These are not leads but names they got from some kind of list. I have used other internet lead sources in years past that worked ok but for whatever reason I decided to try Quote Wizard. This was a huge mistake because I got nothing in return!!! TOTAL RIPOFF

Deceptive advertising company. They make you belive that you are getting quality leads for insurance purposes.

Most of the leads they send you are bad, incorrect, missing info, or are false emails and bad numbers. If one out of 20 replies or you get a hold off. They telll you that they do not need any insurance, or to stop calling them because they have been called more than 20 times. Some of them say that they never requested insurance and that they do not neet it. So.... why does this company send these leads to me and makes me pay for them??? Betweenn $6.00 to $9.00 a lead!!

When you call them they tell you that they cannot stop charging your credit card. They will keep charging your credit card until all the money and the deposit is gone and when that happens they will renew automatically. and charge your credit card again. Even if you request to cancel and request any money back of your deposit not used they say that you do not get a penny back. until all the money is used is used . However, they keep sending you fake leads and bad leads. A complete ripoff!!! .

I was hopping to get a least a few good leads, most of them are bad or fake and the ones that you can communicate with the client He or She tells you that they do not need any insurance or that they never requested insurance. They ask: "How did you my information/" and thet get very upset and tell you not to call anymore!!
