Living in NC, selected the Intuit presence in VA for this report. Signed up ~ 2 weeks ago for the free trial subscription of Simplifi. Discovered this product has more holes in it than swiss cheese. As a retired Telecom/VoIP test & support engineer, the release of this product in NOV 2020 without reliable contact points is frustrating, time consuming and potentially dangerous to your financial and mental well-being.

All I want to do is Chat or speak to a product support person. IMPOSSIBLE unless you take the 'slow boat to China' option via the Community Chat/Support sub-website. Simply unacceptable and ridiculous !!!

Over the past several months I have to try to get support on Quicken 2017 Premium. Since I downloaded the saftware earlier this year it has been nothing but trouble and issues. I have spent hours on their chat help service without results. All they want to do do is log into your computer and fix things.

Earlier this year I tried this method but by the time the tech. was done I had noting that was workable and then spent a long time trying to get a clean new redownload. After I got that it had exactlry the same issues as before.

I completely recreated several years of files and tried to get things to work all to no avail. So back to the chat tech. During this iteration he insisted that I needed to go to another web site and download and run something called a mondo patch. (Please don't ever do this) Buy the time it was finished I was back at square one, needing to recreate all of my files. Good old mondo did something that caused the program to not recognize the Quicken back up files so I did it all over again.

The other day quicken stopped for several minutes and when it resumed it wanted me to go to my bank web site and download my transactions. This admonition now stays at the bottom of every account all of the time. Because so many local banks have had their on line banking services hacked I will not sign up for them.

I am looking for another program for my home finances.I'm not looking forward to recreating my accounts and information but I see no alternative.

I really hope that my experience is the exception but I fear it may be closer to the rule.

Quicken does not work with Wells Fargo Bank. The product is deeply flawed...which it admits, but refuses to fix the connectivity problems with Wells Fargo. Worse, their customer service is a joke....after spending more than 10 hours on the phone with their so-called customer service department...I get this:

My Quicken software suddenly changed the display's appearance, making some essential features impossible to use. I called the support phone number and was told I could not get help because it had been 90 days since I last paid for an upgrade. (Actually, it had been only 4 months.)

I then tried to access the support support for mutual member support. I went to the login screen and entered my password. The system insisted I had entered an incorrect password even though I know I had not. After many tries, I decided to reset my password anyway.

The system emailed my username (which I already knew) and included a link to reset my password. They just sent me in circles with the email,, never even letting me reset my password.

At the end of the session, the system gave me a survey to compleete. Even though it asked whether I had completed my purpose with the site, there was no opportunity to elaborate.
