Quick Marketin Group, formally Virtual Click, formally Royaltech, and formally Pathnet is a horrible company that got its start as an outright scam. The company used to sell Pay Per Click campaigns to insurance agents claiming that they would keep your ad up on the first page of Google under the key phrase "auto insurance" 24/7. Of course insurance agents would bite at this awesome opportunity to be one of the first 3 ads on Google 24/7 for a flat rate of $200 a month.
What they didn't tell their clients/victims is that "auto insurance" is a super expensive click easily $50 to $100 per click depending on the market. So after their client/victim got a click, Anderson Hubbard would pause the account for the rest of the month ensuring it didn't get any more clicks. This is so illegal. State Farm or Allstate could start a class action lawsuit against this company for this reason.
When clients would call in to complain that their ad wasn't up, they would tell the client that Google had flagged the account for review and it should be back up shortly. Then they would unpause the account, the ad would reappear, the client would see it back up and be happy once more, and then they would simply pause it again.
Google doesn't flag accounts for review, so Jamie and Anderson were flat out lying to their clients so they could continue to scam them.
That is how the company got their start. They scammed people outright.
Now it looks like they have diversified their product and are more social media focused. The reason they did this is because Google made it a lot harder to scam people like they were so they had to evolve. Even though they might be a little more legitimate now, they still got their start scamming people.
They also have a history of bullying their employees, not paying their employees on time, mass firings, stealing commissions, and screwing people on their final paychecks.
They must have had a recent mass firing because there are a lot of negative reviews on Glassdoor.com. The company has responded to these reviews by posting a bunch of fake positive reviews and by putting a disclaimer at the beginning basically saying "Caution: Don't trust the negative reviews from disgruntled former employees". Perhaps they don't understand the purpose of Glassdoor.com.
Glassdoor is a resource for people who are looking for a job to be able to research companies to see if they are a good company to work for. So people absolutely need to read the negative reviews especially about companies like Quick Marketing Group.
Jamie Hurley would make a good dictator or paranoid monarch. He likes to be called CEO but the only responsibilities he has are paying bills and writing paychecks. He is not a leader in any stretch of the imagination. He isolates himself from the company by going on vacations all the time. He screams at his employees and often likes to ask people, "Do you know who I am?" when he doesn't get his way. Jamie lacks empathy and has blatant disregard for his employees. He does not give a d**n about them and I actually think he gets pleasure out of being cruel to them.
Anderson Hubbard is the one who would outright lie to clients all the time. He would be the one that would lie to your face and tell you that Google flagged the account for review. He is very talented at faking sincerity. Don't be fooled!
This company has changed their name four times, and moved their sales office about 13 times in their 13 year existence. All the hallmarks of a healthy company.
If you are a business do not work with this company, and if you are looking for a job look elsewhere. There are way better opportunities out there.
