Quail Ridge apartments is the dirtiest apartment building I've ever lived in and I hope people seriously consider renting from these slum lords. Take a good look at this place. It's unsanitary and unsafe, especially for people with disabilities. Quail Ridge charges over 1200 dollars rent; however, you'd be better moving ANYWHERE but Quail Ridge apartments.
I can attest to various unacceptable living conditions at all of their properties on Quail Ridge Road, Winnipeg Manitoba. Here is what you will come across if you decide to reside there.
- The cleaner and maintenance staff will gossip- they will tell other tenants what is in your apartment and your personal business
- Dog feces and urine throughout the building- enterance ways, hall ways, parking lot, on your apartment door
- People breaking windows and pulling fire alarms, constant partying and fighting
-Constant unacccessibility of elevators ( elevators are constantly broken and management will not fix for days)
-Excessive noise - the building is made of wood and you will hear EVERYTHING
- Condescending management who will not listen to your concerns
- History of transient tenants
- Excessive garbage in halls. enterance way
- Excessive fire alarm pulling ( be prepared to be up at 2 in the morning)
- History of bedbugs and mice
- No snow clearing

I lived at uail Ridge apts. for almost three years from 9/12/2012 until 4/30 2015 i complained about cockroaches and black mold and was ignored. when my lease came up for renewel i told them i was planning to rent month to month and was intending on moveing. the next day i recieved a 30 day moveout notice. i was'nt ready financially as i am on ssdi on a fixed income. i needed my $815 deposit so me and relatives cleaned the one bedroom apt did a walk through and was told i would recieve my deposit in the mail within 21 days.
well on the 21 dat to the day i recieved a bill in the mail from the manager it was so outrageouis i couldn't believe it. I filed a small claims suit and won it's six months from the time i should have gotten my $815 deposit and evden with a judgement from the court they still havn't given me my money back. it may not be a lot of money to some people but to me it's the difference between living with relatives and renting my own place.
i've heard bad things about quail ridge apts. since i've been dealing with them nothing good i havn't been able to find out who the owner is i've been dealing with the property management who wouldn't give me my deposit back to begin with and won't give me the name of the owner so i can get my mone so i'm dealing with a name. if theres anyone who can help me with these dishonest thieves i'd appreciate it you could also be helping other poor tenants who are getting victumized be these dishonest owners and managers. they are also involved in embezzalment with the city of roseville.
