My husband ordered me some eye serum and facial cream from Purity Skincare. Not sure where he found the offer, but he paid for shipping only (about $10). Since I am suspicious of everything, I looked up products on Internet and found they were normally $50 each. Did some more reesarch and found out that many many skincare companies pull this scam where they send you a "free offer" amd then charge your credit card after 14 days. I called phone number on my phe agreed to cancel my account and let me keep the produacking slip and person I spoke to admitted it was a 14-day offer and my credit card would be charged. After much runaround he agreed to cancel my account and let me keep the product. I did receive a confirmation email from them, in case they do go ahead and charge my card. Fortunately, I called today, which is day 13 after the order date, or I probably would have been out of luck.
Took advantage of paying shipping for 2 products from Purity Skin Care for shipping costds of $4.95 each last month. used the products and they are not as advertised. Checked my Chase bank account and saw they charged and shipped more product at full retail price of $193.00. I call customer support and asked fore a full refund which they finally agreed to (Corey).
After I hung up and they sent me email acknowledging the full refund. Corey charged my Chase Bank Account another $193.00 ? I called with my Chase Banker on the phone to try and straighten it out. Alex in customer service was not helpful and refused to acknowledge the new charges.
Was rude and hung up and bblocked my phone number. I had Chase Bank block and charges from Purity Skin Care and have no on to get the new charges recversed. Resolution: Stay away from Purity Skin Care they are a total back room dishonest support center full of rude vindictive personal.
