This is a dog breeder who sold us a golden retriever puppy we found on puppy find for 1600$ he told us he had gotten the puppy from another breeder and unpon futhur research we found the puppy to come from a puppy mill.

Do NOT buy a dog from her she’s a puppy mill and doesn’t care about the animal, only the money. She claimed he had all of his shots and gave me a notecard with that information but nothing else. He clearly didn’t have any worming medicine.
I hope something is done so no other animal has to go through the abuse and neglect from her.
My grandparents poodle passed away and they were looking for a new one to love. I happened to find the perfect one on puppyfinder. The listing was for a black miniature female toy poodle for $800. I told my mom and she let my grandmother know. They contacted Charlotte Gothard and wanted to set up to purchase the puppy. Charlotte demanded my grandmother take a picture of a check for a deposit of $300 and send her the picture. My grandmother isn’t tech savvy, so my mother took the picture and was the primary go between. My mom sent the picture of the check and spoke to Charlotte. Charlotte seemed like a nice and open woman, and stated her puppies were her babies and wanted them to have a happy home. She stated she was going to hold the puppy until she was 9 weeks because that was when my parents could travel to pick her up. In the mean time she needed to take the puppy to the vet and have her cleared.
She sent videos and pictures throughout the week, getting my poor grandparents excited for a new baby to love. Then she started texting and calling my mom with strange issues. One day it was the check was not there and she wasn’t going to hold on to the dog for them because the check wasn’t there. My mom stated there must have been some confusion because she thought that all Charlotte wanted was the picture of the check, because she hadn’t given an address or anything to send it to. Charlotte demanded it be overnighted or she was going to sell the puppy that day, she had already turned down two more offers for it. My family paid $60 to overnight the check. the next day Charlotte started texting and said that the puppy was sick and couldn’t leave her care, that she needed to be checked again. Then she text my mom again and stated that the check was a personal check and she didn’t do personal checks. Well, you would think that her seeing the picture of the check before would have been when she might say something, huh? My mom bent over backwards trying to please her. Then Charlotte said we would need to bring 800 in cash because she wasn’t cashing the check, but would give it back in person when we got there to pick up the puppy.
On the MORNING that my parents were about to leave to pick up the puppy Charlotte called and said that she was keeping it. When my horrified mom asked why, this woman went into a rant about how she would only part with the puppy for $200 more dollars. My mom said that they would pay it, so long as my grandparents could have the puppy. Then she demanded MORE money! When my mom questioned why she wanted more Charlotte went off and said they couldn’t have the puppy, and my mom could tell my grandmother it was all her fault. This horrible, vile woman has kept the check and my grandparents are left heartbroken and crying because this was their baby. They had looked at videos, pictures, and had a name picked out. They had new toys and everything ready for her. Then this disgusting person has the nerve to rip it away from them. I think there is a special place for her, but we can’t really do anything other than share so other people don’t suffer.
Charlotte Gothard of Dayton, TN is a lying, cheating, thief that does nothing more than play games with people and hurt them. I had read another review on this site and my mom questioned Charlotte about it. Charlotte swore up and down that this woman was lying, she had more positive reviews and was a good person. I wish we had listened. Don’t do business with her.
I purchased a Frenchton from in Nov, 2016. Lucy did very well for almost the first year, then in late Aug 2017, 2 weeks before her 1st birthday she woke up in excruciating pain and could not walk. I rushed her to my vet, and he referred me to a Neurologist, where after doing and MRI and CT scan she was diagnosed with Hemivertibrae with scoliosis, Stenosis of the vertebral canal, deformation of the spinal cord and disk degeneration. I was informed by the Neurologist that all of these conditions could be hereditary. I contacted the breeder and let her know an asked her to please have the parents checked through her vet. She stated she would do this immediately and let me know, this was in early Sept. 2017. I tried emailing her several times, but no response. Finally In Jan 2018 she contacted me only because she saw the review I left on Puppyfind. After another couple of weeks she finally sent me xrays of the parents but no report from the vet of the findings and I have asked for it numerous times. What good are xrays with no report from the vet? It horrifies me to think that the dogs she’s breeding may have one or all of these conditions and yet she continues to breed them. Any one of these conditions alone are horrible, imagine being an 11 month old puppy and having them all! My Lucy is permanently disabled, she wears a brace to support her spine and will be on steroids along with other meds the rest of her life. I am sharing my experience because I want this stopped unless her dogs are tested we will not know if any of these conditions are genetic or an isolated case.

I have proven my puppy has possible hereditary conditions my vet report says “constistant with congenital anomalies” shouldn’t it be up to the seller now to prove to them that her dogs do not? How am I supposed to get her dogs tested?? Unbelievable!!!

Beware of a so called Breeder located in the atlanta area. She sells puppies that are four to six weeks old. The addvertisement on PuppyFind.com states the they or seven and a half weeks old. I bought a Teacup Yorkie from her. Key word teacup. The puppie was tiny but she said its a teacup. I veryfied the age with my local veteniarian. It died with in five days. I called and pleated for her to take the puppie back. I left voicemails and text trying to get her to respond. I thought in order for the puppie to make it needed to be with his mother. The seller list all kind of breeds each week. Anything that can be considered teacups. Toy poodles, yorkies, maltepoos,morkies. The seller is a very inhumane individual. Im working on other avenues to stop her as well. I hope people look her up before they buy a puppy from her. I wish I had.
Puppyfind.com supports those affiliated with and or supports Puppy Mills, Back Yard Breeders and its advocates and 3rd party representatives of such type of breeders. His name was Goliath and in June of 2017 we had to end his suffering due to pain from missing part of a hip, having only 1 lung, having air in his apendix. This list is quite extensive. After recieving the results from a DNA test our what we thought "pure breed Cane Corso" was actually 25% Neapolitan Mastiff, 25% Rottweiller, 25% Cane Corso and 25% some other unknown mixed canine breed. This DNA test compairs DNA from over 3,000 plus different known dog breeds. Our Goliath who was sold to us as a 8wk pup that was actually a maybe 7wk pup if we were lucky as a "pure breed cane corso" also had MDR1 Gene Mutation which is common in Rottweillers. So to add to all this, they also support Bait and Switch as well. We love Goliath, we miss Goliath so much. Don't put yourself or your family through this type of heartache.

I purchased an 11 month old female Havanese from Laura Halloran in Cypress, TX. I found the dog and Laura from her listing on Puppyfind.com. Before purchasing the dog, Comanche, Laura stated she was very friendly, never met a stranger, good with kids and animals, had champion bloodlines, and is a sweet girl. She sent me pictures of parents upon my request. I informed her that I had a male I was looking for a companion for him. I also have kids. Laura posted pictures of a older dark chocolate Havanese in full, long coat, as well as one puppy picture. I received Comanche as a silvered chocolate with all of her coat chopped off. She had a
flawed coat, not likely one you would see with her supposed bloodlines and definitely not one that should be bred. She was scared to death, of everyone and everything. It was obvious she had been poorly socialized and we even had a vet make the comment that she acts as though she was abused because of her actions. Comanche was sent to me while she was in heat. She had been in heat since around June 1st. Laura listed Comanche for sale around June 10th. I received Comanche on June 16th. Laura said nothing about Comanche being in heat until after I had already picked her up from the airport and noticed myself. For all I
know, Laura could have sent Comanche to me pregnant seeing as how Comanche was not in my care during her most fertile period. Because of this as well as Comanche's demeanor and physical appearance versus what was listed by Laura, I decided to look into Comanche more. I soon found out that Laura had lied to me about who Comanche's Dam was. She sent me pictures of a dog that was in fact NOT her dam. Laura told me she was not a breeder yet has stated to multiple other breeders that she is in order to acquire full AKC registration. She had just sold a young dog before acquiring Comanche along with a littermate. She stated

I contacted Laura many times and received responses at her convenience, most often not answering questions I had asked her. I never received a response as to why she would list a dog that was in heat, nor why she sent me pictures of a Dam with a different name than what was listed on AKC papers, or why she didn't post recent pictures of Comanche. I ended up having to file a charge back as well as a police report in order to get my
money back. I ended up shipping Comanche back to Laura even though it was obvious she really didn't want her. I also contacted puppyfind.com. They merely stated they were a "platform" and hold no liability. They have the option to leave reviews on a seller but when a seller deletes the listing you purchased the dog from and has no other listings, the buyer is NOT able to leave reviews. Therefore, there is no accountability whatsoever with puppyfind.com and I am not able to leave a review for Laura Halloran.
I used this website to look for a puppy, because I thought it was more reliable than craigslist. Breeders have to pay a fee to list their puppies on puppyfind, therefore I thought I was only dealing with verified breeders. Well it is not so. All puppyfind cares about is to collect their fees from breedrs, they do not care if the fee they collect comes from a scammer, who is posting fake pics of puppies they don't have, to make a fraudulent sale to steal your money I bought a puppy that I never received. On puppy find I saw several females for sale but with no price listed by Packerpups. I inquired and was promptly answered by Melissa Alexandra telling me the prices and HOLY CRAP! So I called for more information. She was very rude to me and spent all of like 8 minutes on the phone with me on the phone with me explaining that she sells puppies for Tramin Kennel and some other International kennel and that these dogs are going to put me in a whole different area with breeding which I see so many of Tramin's dogs out there that are Affected with ICT being Champions. SO for a female that is Guaranteed to be pregnant and to be shipped to me would be $16,500.00 she is a ICT carrier, another female ready to go into heat soon also a carrier is $13,500.00.
She has a 7 month old clear female for $7,500.00 she spent alot of time telling me about their lines. I have heard of Tramin but beyond that Im lost! She said she has a client with a clear male who would be an additional $6,000 stud fee. All these numbers are a bit crazy to me. I told her I would contact these breeders myself where she gets them from and she went in automatically defense mose stating that she is the only one that can sell Tramin's breed here in USA, which I felt I needed to learn more about the breed before I would try to sell the pups to others. I also will not get $4000.00 - $5,000.00 for these pups like other established breeders do, so its a bigger risk.
Bought an AKC registered adult dog with breeding rights and paid $3700.00 for the dog. Never received the papers. Despite calls, texts, letters, certified mail still did not receive papers or a reply. Had given up when we saw she was offering another "Adult AKC registered dog with breeding rights" and even BRED on the internet again. We contacted her from another number and despite previously no replies she replied to ths one immediately. We then stated we were the purchasers of the previous dog and still have not received papers...well once again she will not ansers any calls or texts. Probably is running a rescue and then selling them for profit and doesnt even have the papers. Dont be fooled!

On the MORNING that my parents were about to leave to pick up the puppy Charlotte called and said that she was keeping it. When my horrified mom asked why, this woman went into a rant about how she would only part with the puppy for $200 more dollars. My mom said that they would pay it, so long as my grandparents could have the puppy. Then she demanded MORE money! When my mom questioned why she wanted more Charlotte went off and said they couldn’t have the puppy, and my mom could tell my grandmother it was all her fault. This horrible, vile woman has kept the check and my grandparents are left heartbroken and crying because this was their baby. They had looked at videos, pictures, and had a name picked out. They had new toys and everything ready for her. Then this disgusting person has the nerve to rip it away from them. I think there is a special place for her, but we can’t really do anything other than share so other people don’t suffer.
Charlotte Gothard of Dayton, TN is a lying, cheating, thief that does nothing more than play games with people and hurt them. I had read another review on this site and my mom questioned Charlotte about it. Charlotte swore up and down that this woman was lying, she had more positive reviews and was a good person. I purchased a Frenchton from in Nov, 2016. Lucy did very well for almost the first year, then in late Aug 2017, 2 weeks before her 1st birthday she woke up in excruciating pain and could not walk. I rushed her to my vet, and he referred me to a Neurologist, where after doing and MRI and CT scan she was diagnosed with Hemivertibrae with scoliosis, Stenosis of the vertebral canal, deformation of the spinal cord and disk degeneration. I was informed by the Neurologist that all of these conditions could be hereditary. I contacted the breeder and let her know an asked her to please have the parents checked through her vet. She stated she would do this immediately and let me know, this was in early Sept. 2017. I tried emailing her several times, but no response. Finally In Jan 2018 she contacted me only because she saw the review I left on Puppyfind. After another couple of weeks she finally sent me xrays of the parents but no report from the vet of the findings and I have asked for it numerous times. What good are xrays with no report from the vet? It horrifies me to think that the dogs she’s breeding may have one or all of these conditions and yet she continues to breed them. Any one of these conditions alone are horrible, imagine being an 11 month old puppy and having them all! My Lucy is permanently disabled, she wears a brace to support her spine and will be on steroids along with other meds the rest of her life. I am sharing my experience because I want this stopped unless her dogs are tested we will not know if any of these conditions are genetic or an isolated case.
My review has been removed from Puppyfind and below is the email I received from them as to why. I have proven my puppy has possible hereditary conditions my vet report says “constistant with congenital anomalies” shouldn’t it be up to the seller now to prove to them that her dogs do not? How am I supposed to get her dogs tested?? Unbelievable!!!

Beware of a so called Breeder located in the atlanta area. She sells puppies that are four to six weeks old. The addvertisement on PuppyFind.com states the they or seven and a half weeks old. I bought a Teacup Yorkie from her. Key word teacup. The puppie was tiny but she said its a teacup. I veryfied the age with my local veteniarian. It died with in five days. I called and pleated for her to take the puppie back. I left voicemails and text trying to get her to respond. I thought in order for the puppie to make it needed to be with his mother. The seller list all kind of breeds each week. Anything that can be considered teacups. Toy poodles, yorkies, maltepoos,morkies. The seller is a very inhumane individual. Im working on other avenues to stop her as well. I hope people look her up before they buy a puppy from her. I wish I had.

His name was Goliath and in June of 2017 we had to end his suffering due to pain from missing part of a hip, having only 1 lung, having air in his apendix. This list is quite extensive. After recieving the results from a DNA test our what we thought "pure breed Cane Corso" was actually 25% Neapolitan Mastiff, 25% Rottweiller, 25% Cane Corso and 25% some other unknown mixed canine breed. This DNA test compairs DNA from over 3,000 plus different known dog breeds. Our Goliath who was sold to us as a 8wk pup that was actually a maybe 7wk pup if we were lucky as a "pure breed cane corso" also had MDR1 Gene Mutation which is common in Rottweillers. So to add to all this, they also support Bait and Switch as well. We love Goliath, we miss Goliath so much. Don't put yourself or your family through this type of heartache.

I purchased an 11 month old female Havanese from Laura Halloran in Cypress, TX. I found the dog and Laura from her listing on Puppyfind.com. Before purchasing the dog, Comanche, Laura stated she was very friendly, never met a stranger, good with kids and animals, had champion bloodlines, and is a sweet girl. She sent me pictures of parents upon my request. I informed her that I had a male I was looking for a companion for him. I also have kids. Laura posted pictures of a older dark chocolate Havanese in full, long coat, as well as one puppy picture. I received Comanche as a silvered chocolate with all of her coat chopped off. She had a
flawed coat, not likely one you would see with her supposed bloodlines and definitely not one that should be bred. She was scared to death, of everyone and everything. It was obvious she had been poorly socialized and we even had a vet make the comment that she acts as though she was abused because of her actions. Comanche was sent to me while she was in heat. She had been in heat since around June 1st. Laura listed Comanche for sale around June 10th. I received Comanche on June 16th. Laura said nothing about Comanche being in heat until after I had already picked her up from the airport and noticed myself. For all I
know, Laura could have sent Comanche to me pregnant seeing as how Comanche was not in my care during her most fertile period. Because of this as well as Comanche's demeanor and physical appearance versus what was listed by Laura, I decided to look into Comanche more. I ended up having to file a charge back as well as a police report in order to get my
money back. I ended up shipping Comanche back to Laura even though it was obvious she really didn't want her. I also contacted puppyfind.com. They merely stated they were a "platform" and hold no liability. They have the option to leave reviews on a seller but when a seller deletes the listing you purchased the dog from and has no other listings, the buyer is NOT able to leave reviews. Therefore, there is no accountability whatsoever with puppyfind.com and I am not able to leave a review for Laura Halloran.
I used this website to look for a puppy, because I thought it was more reliable than craigslist. Breeders have to pay a fee to list their puppies on puppyfind, therefore I thought I was only dealing with verified breeders. Well it is not so. All puppyfind cares about is to collect their fees from breedrs, they do not care if the fee they collect comes from a scammer, who is posting fake pics of puppies they don't have, to make a fraudulent sale to steal your money I bought a puppy that I never received. The breeder was a scammer. Puppyfind refused to provide any help, nor do anything. Basically, it is my problem. They chose to protect the scammer. On puppy find I saw several females for sale but with no price listed by Packerpups. I inquired and was promptly answered by Melissa Alexandra telling me the prices and HOLY CRAP! So I called for more information. She was very rude to me and spent all of like 8 minutes on the phone with me on the phone with me explaining that she sells puppies for Tramin Kennel and some other International kennel and that these dogs are going to put me in a whole different area with breeding which I see so many of Tramin's dogs out there that are Affected with ICT being Champions. SO for a female that is Guaranteed to be pregnant and to be shipped to me would be $16,500.00 she is a ICT carrier, another female ready to go into heat soon also a carrier is $13,500.00.
She has a 7 month old clear female for $7,500.00 she spent alot of time telling me about their lines. I have heard of Tramin but beyond that Im lost! She said she has a client with a clear male who would be an additional $6,000 stud fee. All these numbers are a bit crazy to me. I told her I would contact these breeders myself where she gets them from and she went in automatically defense mose stating that she is the only one that can sell Tramin's breed here in USA, which I felt I needed to learn more about the breed before I would try to sell the pups to others. I also will not get $4000.00 - $5,000.00 for these pups like other established breeders do, so its a bigger risk.
Bought an AKC registered adult dog with breeding rights and paid $3700.00 for the dog. Never received the papers. Despite calls, texts, letters, certified mail still did not receive papers or a reply. Had given up when we saw she was offering another "Adult AKC registered dog with breeding rights" and even BRED on the internet again. We contacted her from another number and despite previously no replies she replied to ths one immediately. We then stated we were the purchasers of the previous dog and still have not received papers...well once again she will not ansers any calls or texts. Probably is running a rescue and then selling them for profit and doesnt even have the papers. Dont be fooled!
