I purchased a Wheaton Terrier from the Arrowhead Store Monday. December 11, 2017 at around 7:30 pm. We had a in depth discussion about this puppy since they wanted 2700.00 for her. I ask why she was so skinny and they informed me that Wheaton's are thin. I ask if she had been vet checked and was healthy, their response was yes she has absolutely been checked she is very healthy. We discussed puppy mills and they informed me that they do not buy from the puppy mills and showed me paperwork that I could check out online after I made the purchase. they also have a poster from the Governor which I am thinking is a fraud that they do not utilize puppy mills. I had been
looking for a puppy to add to my family as I currently have a Coton De Tulear who is completely healthy and never has had any issue for 5 years. Now with all the lies and deceit along with defrauding me, I find out that this puppy is not healthy as they stated, was all fabricated so I would buy the puppy. All other dogs in that kennel were probably sick as well with Giardia. My puppy had very soft stools which she had the night I picked her up from the pet store after we got home and situated. I presumed this was from a different surrounding and stress - nope she is actually sick and was sick when they sold her to me. I took her to their recommended vet to be checked, which I am still not
sure why that would be required since it really isn't free everything costs. Now I am worried about my other dog - even though he doesn't eat fecal matter, the parasites are in her stool. I am sure she will get them as I clean all accidents up as thoroughly as I can but can't see parasites so I am not sure I got them all. With Giardia, I understand they can live in the open air for long periods of time. This puppy had this prior to me picking her up as her stools were always soft and they did nothing about it. How is this legal??? The vet told me to keep her paws clean - well she is kenneled for her safety while I am gone and I come home to a horrific mess of poop everything
goes through her. I have given her the stuff the vet gave me to firm up her stools to no avail. I want to know why it is ok for them to sell you a sick dog but not ok for you to get your money back??? What kind of Pet guarantee is this pet stores need to be shut down and anyone who reads this lets chat and has had problesm, please reach out to me on this venue. I am disgusted that I bought a puppy mill puppy as I do not promote that just to make a buck. I am disgusted that it could be legal to charge you almost 3 thousand dollars and have not pet guarantee and that they can sell legally sick pets to unsuspecting people. These companies need to be shut down and I am going to meet
