The worst provider we have had the pleasure of dealing with is definitely Blindamax, on the subject of windows in my house. I am going to share my story with this horrible company. After several months of failure to receive windows that cost me more than $50,000 USD with Blindamax, I finally now have all my windows and they are all installed, and I can finally open my mouth publicly against that company, to warn others. When these abuses happen by people and companies one has to alert the public so that it does not happen again to another person. Also so that these individuals do not think that these acts can remain without both legal impunity and without damage to their reputation. I am already in my legal process against that company, and they are going to pay for what they did, both damages and contractual penalties. Blindamax missed our contract delivery date and they were more than 2 months late and left us literally living without windows for months. When it rained the house literally flooded. And even one night thieves broke into a window that they did not install, something that the police are also investigating, because it is highly suspicious. And the quality of the product that arrived was not good and there were even water leaks through all the windows. They designed the windows wrong. Also, apart from that, there was bad paint, windows that did not close completely, stops that did not hold the window when they were open and locks that did not lock the windows.
They had been paid all the money to produce and ship and install the windows, 70% of everything, but after missing the contractual date that they had to deliver everything, they refused to assume the entire penalty clause of their contract and they even began to ask us for even more money or else they were not going to give us for the remaining windows. According to their story, all the money that had already been paid to them was spent and they had no way to finish producing and delivering windows without more payments. They literally left us screwed. So we in our despair paid more. But then when they finally delivered all the windows to us months later, after so much anxious waiting and begging for them to deliver windows, they then left us hanging and stopped installing windows and we had to finish installing with other workers who didn't even know how to install those windows. Also separately, before leaving us hanging, one of their installers had bad brakes on his car and it crashed into the gate of my house and caused serious and expensive structural damage and destroyed the gate motor. They refused to pay for the damages. And they no longer respond to our messages. Even the Blindamax advisor also left us hanging and blocked us. I have never known such a bad and dishonest company in my life. Never do business with that company.
