She behaves in an unethical manner and violates client's privacy by posting their first name, spell petitions and spell candle burn results on her You Tube channel. You just don't do that and her burn interpretations are inaccurate. She has also had multiple mental break downs on her You Tube channel (rant videos) where she has yelled at clients for their mistakes in writing their spell petitions. Instead of educating clients, she yells and insults them.
In addition, Emily calls on dark forces in her spell work and does "D.U.M.E" candle spells which is also unethical and could hurt people physically. Around February of 2020 Emily's You Tube and Instagram Accounts were compromised by hackers. These hackers have contacted Emily's clients directly trying to get them to pay on "Whatsapp" which is a messaging application run by Facebook. When her client(s) have asked if that's how/where they should pay her, she has yelled at the clients and become sarcastic, instead of directing them to the right method of payment.
Emily has asked her clients to report the hackers to You Tube and Instagram, but she refuses to contact You Tube and Instagram herself to resolve hacking issues. In short, Emily does not practice magick in an ethical/logical manner. She doesn't treat her customers with respect or dignity.
Emily was arrested for prostitution in 2014 under the name "Emily L. Westbrook" in Oklahoma. She was charged with a misdemeanor and put on probation. This arrest could be why she changed her name from Emily West to Emily Halifax. Currently, Emily has a Class Action Lawsuit pending against her. She appears to have multiple personalities which are caused by negative spirits that attach to a person's Aura. She's arrogant, narcissistic, can't feel empathy or compassion, breaks the law repeatedly, lies, robs people blind, threatens clients and that can be summed up in one word: PSYCHOPATH!!

I was scammed by her and I got a full refund. Now I want to tell my story! I wanted Kurt to come back. We were going strong for 14 years and had the life of the romantic movies. He just disappeared from my life one day after an argument at a restaurant.
I was told she could do a run of 9+ vigil candles and a love psychic reading that would bring Kurt back. I believed her. The money kept leaving my purse. I never kept track of pennies. I was up to $18,429 lost and crying over Kurt still not returning to the relationship. I picked up the phone and found out:
1. Emily was illegally processing payments off my credit card with a Stripe service. She was never allowed to use the payment processor.
2. Emily was processing her payments under Healing Woods but operating under the domain name EmilyHalifax and not under her real business name. Very shady! No clients visited Healing Woods itself. They were off other websites. Yet the payments were processed under the Healing Woods FRONT for the Stripe payment processor services.
I began to worry... I been scammed out of money! I knew I was scammed. I cried over Kurt. I just wanted him back and not to feel this empty hole in my heart. I loved him so much and I was too blind to realize what Emily was doing to me. I did not know this much money had been taken.
3. I reported Emily Halifax to Stripe and they started an investigation against her due to several fraud/scam complaints and violation of their payment terminal. Her payment processor was shut down.
4. Two days later, I received an email from Stripe stating that they took action against Emily Halifax aka Healing Woods aka emilyhalifax domain. She was terminated from processing payments using Stripe and an investigation started.
HOW I GOT MY MONEY BACK: The manager at Stripe told me to call my bank or the number on the back of the card I used to process payment with Healing Woods. I called my bank and disputed all of my transactions EXPLAINING THAT THEY WERE NOT MY TRANSACTIONS (WITHOUT MY PERMISSION) that were made to Healing Woods.
I told them I was scammed and they reversed all of the payments back into my account. It was an easy phone call to make and it took less then 10 minutes to get my bank to refund me.
I FINALLY GOT ALL MY MONEY BACK AND DO NOT HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT HOW TO SUPPORT FOR MY FAMILY AT CHRISTMAS BY CALLING THE NUMBER ON THE BACK OF MY CREDIT CARD.
Emily Halifax sent out an email to everyone admitting that she was no longer accepting orders. This email confirmed that she was under investigation and they suspended her account. She cannot process payments at this time.
If you look at her Google Reviews, she updated her business listing to "Permanently Closed" due to fraud. If anyone reading this complaint has had candle work or a psychic reading done by Emily Halifax aka Healing Woods, you should contact your bank IMMEDIATELY before she files for Bankruptcy and runs with whatever money she has left to her name.
Most banks only allow you up to 6 months to file a dispute against a payment transaction and you need to make sure you emphases it was illegally processed payment in violation of the payment processor.
I've read online that some of her clients are trying to serve her legally for a lawsuit. A group of them are sitting with a lawyer and you can join their claim. She has two business locations. I saw her Youtube Video today titled "Messages from the Universe".
This psychic reading she did on Youtube was performed from her second business location, 918 S Quebec Ave Tulsa, OK 74112. Her main business is located at 3230 E 15th Street Tulsa, Oklahoma 74104. Both are business addresses registered with the business registry, not residential. Legal right to notify her of your complaints.
