After working for this company for over three years with hard work an dedication they decided to cut my salary more than half. When I first started out with this company I was a stylist and was promoted to a district manager, my regional manager was not equipped for her position in which the company was aware of but continued to employ her. Because of that reason the New England market was recieving a bad reputation in the assistant living communities.
while being promoted to district manager I was pulled out of a communitie to work in another, at that time I lost money but was promised advancement. After working in the second communities the company decided to promote me to senior district manager and removed me from the second community to be more out in the field, again lost money. After a month of waiting for the promotion they decided not to promote me due to low revenue in the region. Now I am out of a communities and no possiblity for making any more money.
After 6 month the District manager from Rhode Island stepped down due to simalar problems, I was then given the Rhode Island market which needed a great deal of attention. At that time it made up for my losses from behnd the chair. After a year of building Rhode Island I was asked to take on a communities in Ct., that needed attention due to the lack of leadership from the Regional Manager. These communities were in jeopardy of breaking our contract. I agreed to give up Rhode Island to take on these two communities.
Finally they let the Regional Manager go but the damage was already done. Corporate knew in fact that they were in jeopardy of loosing these contracts and needed my help. Since June 2016 I drove to CT from the Boston area weekly to monitor these communities, my gas allowance was increased slightly.
In Oct. Salon PS was notified that one of the CT communities were not resigning the contract, this community had 3 salons on the campus and generated a great percentage on my revenue share monthly. Having given up Rhode Island this large community made up for it. As of Oct. 22 we were not longer employing any of our stylist and over 7 stylist lost there jobs. All the while Salon PS knew 6 months prior that the contact with this community would not be resigned due to the mistakes to the prior Regional Manage and corporate.
At the end of Oct. Corporate informed me that they were taking away my salary of 300.00 a week cutting my gas allowance from 400.00 a month to 225.00 and I would have to go back behind the chair at a community that only generated for me 250.00 a week.
My Revenue share went from 1600.00 a month to 800.00 a month, gas allowance cut by 175.00 but still maintained a community in CT and Vermont and my salary was cut. Weekly I would have brought home $350.00 opposed to 800.00.
Snce the prior Regional was let go they hired another and again this Regional had no idea what she was doing and depended on my knowledge in this region.
I expressed my concerns of pay cut and coporate basically said that if I could not accept this then they would accept my resignation.
I did resign and had had enough of this roller coaster ride with this poor managed company. The unprofessonal behavior was beyond anything I have ever experience out there in the industry. Not respect, cady and overall no compasion for the hard working employyee;s that are trying to do there job,
