My wife and i hired proud american van lines to move use from maryland to florida

i checked around for the best price and what i thought was good service but i didn't at all get that.

we were quoted a price for what they called a piggy back with no hiding fee's they loaded and reboxed stuff we already had done and they told me it was company policy to use thier boxes what a lie 'they ask when do you want your delivery this was on the 1st of jan i said we would like to have it by aleast the 3rd or 4th but it never happened they took our load to philly went through our belonging's bust my 60 inch tv rolled my john deere x 300 off the truck broke and stold numeress item's my leather's were in air tight plastic cloth's storage but ended up on the floor of the trailer.

when i finally got our stuff arounf 4 weeks after the due date and started unloading the mover's were throwing our stuff around like they didn't care 'after seeing my tractor and my big screen tv destroyed i was devastated plus everything eles that was missing our broke i knew then that these people did not care at all 'my wife and i filed a claim for the limit which they said was $10,000 after 3 month's they finally emailed us an answer about what they came up with to cover the damage and it was only$68.00

that was a slap in the face after what they put use through and distroyed lost or what ever excuse they have i dinied would not sign it sound's and look's like insurance fraud to me if i had it to do over i would strap it on my back first NEVER USE PROUD AMERICAN VAN LINE'S THEY ARE RIPPOFF'S.I hope a lawyer that does not like this kind of stuff happening to good hard working honest people see's this and help's us out $10,000 is not even enough to pay for what we have been through and lost because of a bunch of insuranse scaming rippoff's.

Contracted with Proud American to do a small move from FL to KY. Spoke to Calvin, the sales rep. He demonstrated great customer service, was informative, helpful and frankly based on his performance and personality we chose them over others. We needed a "hard" delivery date and because of the Thanksgiving Holiday, we wanted to have enought time. They sold us on 7-10 days to deliver the goods. We scheduled the moveers to pick up our one bedroom, couple of lamps, boxes move on November 21 for delivery on Dec. 3. Again, the Front side of the move went okay. On November 25, I received a call asking if they could deliver early the driver had a couple of cancelations and they wanted to get it to the house early. We could not, because we couldn't get into the house until December 2. From her the move went horrible fast. On Monday, November 30, I called and talked to Kanisha, (who says she is a supvisor) to get an update. She stated that she had no information and had to call Operations, she agreed to call back. No call back. On December 1, I called again, speaking to Paris, she said she had no information or record, of anyone talking to me. I confirmed we could accept the delivery between December 2 - 5. She stated she would have to call operations, they only give them a cell phone number that they can not give out to customers. It could take 24 hours to get back to me. I explained that Kanisha had promisted to call back the day before. She put me on hold. She came back to me telling me that my goods were at their storage facility and she had no informaiton as to when they would be delivered..... It could be as long as 14 - 21 days. I expressed my displeasure, How can we go from someone calling me to say they want to deliver early to now my goods in storage and maybe not getting them for a period of 14-21 days. She said she would get more information and call me back. On December 2, again no call back so I called again, this time I spoke to Jenny, another so called supervisor, with absolutely NO customer service skills. She said she had no information, was not helpful in the least and frankly was rude. I explained that I wished to speak to a manager so that I could resolve the issues. She said she was the supervisor. I asked for her boss, she placed me on hold for 20 minutes. Finally, I hung up. I attempted calling again, I spoke to Julia, Karl and no informaiton. They gave me a web link to track my move that had no information on it.

December 3, I called again, to no avail. This time Jenny, again being rude, when I asked or a Supervisor, placed me on hold. She switched me over to Kanisha, who said she too was a supervisor, I asked was she a peer or Jenny's manager, she stated she was a peer. She had no information on my move. She'd have information when Operations gave it to her. So I should just be patient and wait. I'll get my goods eventually. I asked again to speak to a manager. She stated she reported to a board of directors and that she couldn't give out any information. I could find that information on a web site. At this point, I have no where to go. I shared my disappointment and worry that my goods would be damaged or lost. This was not customer service. No information, no calls back. Just run arounds.

December 4, called again. Nothing, December 7, again, nothing more rudeness. I called the sales and QC teams only to get voice mails and no return calls. I also attempted emailing both Calivn and Julia. No reponse. My furniture finally arrived on December 10. Two pieces are mssing, my dresser was damaged. Worst moving experience I have ever had. No customer service, no care. Just horrible.
