An order was placed at 2:45pm and called to cancel at 5:18PM same day. I was informed Customer Service is gone for the day and that they cannot cancel and to call back the next day. I also emailed at that same moment and same day. When I called to cancel the next day they said I'd be charge 4% cancellation when the order is not processed nor shipped.
Website posted business hours 8AM to 10PM and no where does it say that you cannot cancel after 5PM or you'll be charged 4% cancellation fee. The representative was talking rudely and refused to help and hung up on me. When I called back requesting to speak to a manager I got another person who treated me the same way and also hang up on me. They have no customer service and care not about mistreating their customer.
I was looking into a mobility scooter. I researched online and found a company called Progress Mobility. I called and spoke to Derrick . Derrick told me of a special they were having at 799 reg 1299 but Derrick told me he would need a credit card in order for me to place the order. I gave him my credit card number in order to hold it at the special price. I told him I would need to talk to my wife so to hold off on placing the order and I would call him back . After talking to my wife we decided to wait a while before ordering a scooter. She also told me they had ran the card for 400.00. Within 10 minutes I called Derrick back and told him to cancel the order and DO NOT charge my card. He assured me he would do that. The temporary hold placed on my card stayed there for a couple of days and the Progress mobility ran it through as a charge. When we called Derrick he said that I didn't tell him to "hold off" on the order and it would take some time to get it refunded . My wife tried to talk to him and ask him why I ran the card and he wouldn't let her speak . She ask for his supervisor and he told her he doesn't have one that he is the only one, This is a fast talking salesman and beware of this company. I shudder to think what they do to the elderly . And the "special price" was not a "special price" at all. It was normal price.
