On or about January 25, 2016 I received a phone call from an advertising company called Production Media Company. They explained to me about their product called real estate folders. I was told that they supply these folders for free to interested real estate brokers. The folders have advertising on the front and back and that the advertising is limited to one advertiser per trade or business type. They were calling me to let me know that they were supplying folders to the Keller Williams office in Jackson New Jersey. Jackson is close to where we do business so I agreed to purchase a spot on the folders. Also that we would be the only general contractor on the folder.
The purchase price for the single ad was $495.00 but if I paid in full they would credit me a discount of $20.00. So I paid in full with my credit card in the amount of $475.00 on January 26, 2016. They asked us to send them logo’s etc. to create the ad. I immediately sent our company logo and directed them to our website to retrieve pictures. This ended up not being completed until February 10, 2016. At which time they had sent us the completed design, which we were happy with and approved.
At this time I contacted the company and spoke to our sales team Ray McComb and Steven Moore. They told me that all of the folder spaces had not been sold yet and that since I was one of the first advertisers they need to fill the folder spaces before they would be sent to the printers for production. I was told approximately on month longer but for sure by June 2016. They also told me that once production started we would be immediately sent out a copy of the folder for our confirmation.
Once June rolled around I called. I got a run around that the folder didn’t sell out yet but they expected it to be to the printers by the beginning of July. That never happened. Then I was told August, then September. At this point I demanded answers and the service manager of my account, Daniel at extension 1069 said there was an office queue. The sales people stole all of the accounts, etc. I told him that didn’t matter to me that I needed a full refund and he told me they would send out a check the next day September 16, 2016. Some more time passed and I called up Daniel and he told me the refund needed to get approved first now. This caused me to get very angry and I asked to speak to his boss. I was told to call Doug Johnson of the service department. I have called him three more times since then and have yet to receive a return call. His voice mails states that if he doesn’t call you back in 24 hours to ask to speak to his operations supervisor. The last call today I did and it just sent me back to Doug Johnson’s voice mail.
This scam has been going on since January 2016. We just want our money back. 9 months waiting on this is horrible. I don’t see how they are allowed to stay in business. Once I looked them up on the internet I have found that I am not the only one.

Total scam. Same problems as the other reviewers. If you are reading this you get the idea they are a rip-off.
We made the mistake of doing business with these people in 2014. While initially we thought their "ad folders" were a good idea, we found that we didn't really get the results we wanted so we decided to spend our marketing dollars elsewhere going forward. Some time late in 2014 I get a call from Production Media asking if I wanted to do their advertising folders again. I politley said "no". Two weeks later I see a charge on my credit card for $1500. I go down to their office on SW Center St. and asked who authorized the charge. The guy in charge said that the person who called me must have run the charge by accident. Sure. He does go ahead and reverses the charge while I am sitting there. Ok, thanks.
A week later there is another charge for $1500. I did not see the latter charge until recently. After I discovered the first fraudulent charge I called my credit card company and asked them to block all charges from Production Media. Somehow the latter charge slipped thru and they said that it shouldn't have so they are covering me and will be billing their merchant account back.
DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE. If they ever call you, HANG UP. Under no circumstances give them any credit card information.
I originally purchased advertising from the company during May, 2015. I could never get ahold of customer service or get the sales team (scammers) to respond to emails. I called a number of times without any help.
When my ad was finally ready, they sent it to me for proofing. I told them that it was incorrect and they had removed ALL of my contact informaion. What is the poing of advertising if you don't provide contact information!!! They said they'd fix it and then I never heard from them. I sent emails requesting updates from June-November of 2015.
When one of their scammers actually responded to my request, I received a digital copy of what was published on hundreds of folders and sent to a local real estate group for public use...you guessed it! They did not update the ad as I had asked so now there are folders out there with my name and company with ZERO contact information. Not only was the product delivered well after their 120 day turn around time, but they did a terrible job and have damaged my public appearance by providing a product that portrays me in a negative light.
This company is a ripoff. I anticipate that their owner will respond to this report as she has with other reports. Avoid this company at all costs!
I agree with the above reviews, because I also was an advertiser for $495 for these folders for a local Real Estate Firm. It took over 5 months before they were printed and delivered. After being told that 50 agents of the real estate firm were going to be handing them out it had only ONE name printed on the folder & no one in the entire office used them or handed them out to clients.
Do not accept any explanation from this firm or become involved with this firm.
ALL REAL ESTATE FIRM ARE RUINING THEIR REPUTATION WITH LOCAL BUSINESS!!
I signed an agreement March 22, 2016. On April 28, 2016 I received a generic proof with another companies name on it. I replied the same day with a rejection. I did not hear from them until I called on June 22, 2016 asking to cancel. "No cancelation policy" I was told. Previous contact is no longer with the company. Even with a lack of progress on their part. Requested a proof. Again sent an example of another companys advertisement. I responded with my data. Cannot be given any date of publication. They have provided no service at all. Only thing to do is inform the BBB and see if that helps.
This company solicited me by phone. I should have known better.
Their customer service is no service at all. They forget what their lies are.
The sales person told me that folders would be ready by September. That was the rush for payment and to approve art work.
After countless phone calls and emails, I was told that folders would not be ready until October.
In the meantime, looking at the BBB, Yelp, and Google reviews, panic set in only to be told by condescending people I probably misunderstood the salesman. That it was I who is confused.
I have contacted my credit card company and will become part of a class action suit.
Please stay away!!
