I ordered 2 candles. when i got them, one was broken. i then ordered 3 more for a total of 40.00 on dec. 8th. got an order confirmation but nothing else. they have already charged my card for the 40.00. i feel like i have been ripped off. getting no contact from trhem.

I ordered candles as gifts from what I belived were holiday/end of year sales/clearences. I never recieved them! I never got my money back! The company closed down. There website disapeared, there phone number is out of service and you can not email them. There are several unhappy customers! The FB page has many unaswered posts from unhappy people. They made us feel like we were getting a deal when all we got was ripped off!

I ordered over a $100 worth of candles for Christmas gifts from Prize Candle the end of November 2016. When I received the candles, they were completely broken with shards of glass all over the box. I tried to contact the Company but the phone number was disconnected and none of my emails were returned. I think this is an awful thing to do to a customer, especially before Christmas. They constantly sent me emails advertising amazing sales and then when I order and have a problem, they are nowhere to be found! I think it's really a horrible thing to do to their customers right before Christmas. What a scam!

I recently purchased over $50 worth of candles from prizecandle.com. I purchased 6 candles and they charged me on December 8th, 2016. After a few days I began checking my email for the shipping confirmation and never received one. I then began to go to their website and at that point the website was down, they said they were SOLD OUT. I then attempted to contact PRIZE CANDLES through their customer service email and a few days later I realized the emails were never delivered. Prize candle are SCAMMERS!!! How do i go about getting my money back?

On December 9, 2016 I placed an order with Prize Candle for 4 candles under their 9th day of Christmas 4 for $32 promotion, promo code: JOY. I received a confirmation number and told I would receive an email with a tracking link once my order ships. The money was then taken from my account by them. On December 19, 2016 I sent an email to them asking for any information. On December 20, 2016 I received an email stating that my email has been delayed. The server did not accept the request to connect. I have since sent 3 more emails. 2 were returned stating the same, temporary failure, and the others had been marked as a, permanent failure.

I clicked on an ad on Facebook on December 9th, 2016, and ordered 4 candles from Prizecandle.com. as of today- 12/26/2016, I have received no candles. I tried to email the company- it bounced back as undeliverable. I tried to call the company- the number I dialed was not a working number. I'm out 4 candles and $44 dollars. Doesn't Facebook check on the companies that advertise on their site?

After waiting weeks to receive my package of three candles, I open the box to nothing but shattered glass. All of my candles were broken and none came with the individual boxes they were supposed to come with. There was nothing but a couple foam peanuts ON TOP of the candles. Immediately after receiving and opening my package, I sent an email and tried to contact customer service through their website. Their website is no longer in service and gmail alerted me to the fact that my complaint email would not go through as their contact email was also no longer an email. I am at a loss as to what to do and have seen nothing but complaints from customers. They are deleting all bad comments from their Facebook page and not addressing anyone's problems. I would like a complete refund for all of my candles and the ridiculous shipping that I had to pay for my ungiftable candles. Crossing my fingers that they get what's coming to them!

A couple of weeks ago I bought 3 candles from The website prizecandle.com. I was supposed to be charged 27.00 bucks but I was charged 40.00 bucks instead. I have tried contacting them a few times wondering where my candles were and when they were getting shipped but I haven't gotten a response. I have made another attempt today and now all of a sudden the website isn't working. I went to their Facebook page and found out that I'm not the only one having this problem. I have never had a problem with them before until now. I don't understand why their website isn't working and how come they're not responding to my emails. I'm not the only outraged customer. This problem needs to get fixed asap or I'm going to seek legal action against them.

I ordered 3 candles from prize candle. I have ordered before with no complaints. These, however were poorly packaged. One completely shattered. Two of them are not even in the original boxes. I e-mailed the company with no reply. Their website has been taken down. The owner lists as she is no longer in charge of the company. So many other complaints from other people. I am very disappointed as these were Christmas gifts.

I ordered 3 Prize Candles from this company on December 10, 2016 I was sent an email thanking me for my order and was told I would receive an email once they are shipped. I am still waiting for that email but as of today December 24, 2016 still nothing. I have had to contact my bank to file a claim to get my money returned. I NEVER order things like prize candles online but being the holidays I thought this would be a fun gift for my daughter and co workers. I have tried several time to contact this company and I get nothing back from them. All my emails come back unable to deliverable no phone number and they seem to be gone off the face of the earth.

I ordered 4 candles from this site via Facebook and although I received an item number I never received what I bought! They were supposed to be Christmas gifts and then I lost all forms of contact with them via messaging and Facebook no responses and no number to call. It extremely saddening and frustration g especially to those who don't have much money in the first place so now those family numbers I was getting that for are now getting nothing and my money is GONE!!

I ordered 3 candles on 12/10/16 and received an order confirmation stating that I'd receive a tracking number when my order shipped. I didn't receive another email so a few days later I sent an email to check up on my order. I received no response so a little while later I checked their website which had been minimized to one page with no contact info. I called their phone number from my confirmation email and found that it had been disconnected. I called and emailed a few more times with the same results. I checked the facebook page and found many complaints similar to mine. I have still not received any form of contact or my products. I filed a report with my credit card and got my money back but it was a very unpleasant experience overall and I would recommend contacting your card provider to get your money back if your in the same situation. They were at least swift about the transaction and I had my money back in two days.

I ordered three candles from the well known and popular site Prize Candles at the begining of the Christmas rush for what I felt was a very good deal. They were $11 each if you bought three. Normally they ran $15-$20 each and I assumed there was no way they would get any cheaper because I had watched them all year and they never had before. It was a promotion where you put in the name SANTA and got $41.97 off of the total so it came to $46.66, which I paid by CC. I picked out the three scents that I wanted, ordered, got confirmation, and waited. They never came.

The reason they are called Prize Candles is because when melted down you receive a ring worth money inside. They are all of some type of value and pretty enough to wear without hesitation. Some can be very valuable. This business had 5 stars with the Better Business Bureau, which is another reason I decided to buy from them. These were for Christmas gifts. Now here I am, friend arrived yesterday and no present for her.

I have bought numerous candles from this company in the past and have had no issues. So I purchased 10 prize candles as Christmas gifts. Ond Dec. 13th I received a shipment notificaiton via email. I attempted to check the status of my order by logging onto the website however, the website was down. I tried multiple times over a few day period to get onto the website with no luck. I was able to click on the tracking link in the email to see they were scheduled to arrive on Dec. 20th which they did. 7 of the 10 candles shipped with no individual box (not typical) 5 of them were broken. There were shards of glass everywhere. The 5 that were not in broken containers the candles themselves were cracked which is not typical from my past experience. I sent an email and it came back undeliverable. I spent over $114 and after carefully getting the broken glass off the tops of the candles I did give the 5 as gifts but now I am left with 5 useless candles.

I ordered 3 candles on December 9, 2016. PrizeCandle.com took the money from my account immediately. Today December 24, 2016 I received the box with my 3 candles and all 3 are smashed. Glass everywhere. Box look great but as soon as I picked it up I heard the glass rattling around. I took pictures, emailed the company and all emails are being returned undeliverable. Then I get on the website and it is shut down. I check out facebook page and find that I am not the only one with this problem. Prize Candle has closed and they have my money and I have glass all over. What am I going to do with smashed candles? This company is ripping people off across the country and they just dropped off the face of the earth!

I also got ripped off by prize candle, on december 8 I placed a order for 15 candles, I received a conformation number and was told I would receive a tracking number when candles are ready to ship,, I have not received any tracking info or any info at all,, today is christmas day and still nothing,,,, every time I have went to prize candle website all it says is SOLD OUT,,, i CANT GET ANY INFO!!! I am thinking maybe they just took everyones money for the orders and then went out of business???, well at this time I seem to have been ripped off for around $135.00

I saw a great deal online that 25$ candles are 9$. I bought 4. For my 4 girls. I was finally done shopping for them. I have been waiting since Dec 8th for my order and have heard nothing. I started panicking so I started researching. Came upon all these comments. I really am sad as I have no other present for them as our Xmas is tomorrow. I am skeptical about buying online, but I thought this was a legit sight and product. I hope I eventually get the product or at least my money back. I can't afford another gift for my girls until either one of this happens.

I ordered items off of their website they were shipped to me completely broken. I emailed them sent pictures of the items that were broken they never received a response back even though when I contact them previously they respond back the same day. Contact the phone number listed it was disconnected. Email them through the website and through my personal email never received a response back. Now when I try to go to the website it doesn't even pull up.

I had to purchase candles from another company (which delivered the next day) because I still have not received the order from Prize Candle. I cannot get in touch with the company for a refund. This is outright theft!

I ordered 4 candles 2 of which were broken upon arrival. I contacted them by email and they said they would replace the broken candles. I received the replacement candles and they were both broken. I contacted them by email 3 times with no reply. I tried to contact them again today and the email came back undeliverable and their web site is now down. They owe me for 2 broken candles. This company is a big ripoff.

I placed an order on December 9, 2016 to Prize Candle. I purchased 4 candles and was offered a discount code (JOY) to get all four candles for $36. They're usually $25/pc. I placed my order cheerfully; excited for my Christmas gifts to coworkers and family. I received a confirmation email promptly. The email informed me a confirmation shipment email will be sent once the order is shipped. I didn't receive a shipment email until December 16th. Cutting it close for Christmas--- no one informed me I wouldn't receive my order in time! I tracked and tracked my order. I looked it up today (December 22nd) and was told the package was damaged and unable to be delivered. I'm a reasonable person; I understand accidents happen. I tried to get find a number to contact them and there's conveniently no working number to be found. All emails I've sent have returned to me. According to their Facebook there's other consumers having the same problem. The BBB is investigating them as of this week. I'm calling my bank as soon as they open tomorrow. What a disappointment.

I purchase candles from Prize Candle and received my order, then I made another purchase on 12/12/16, it was a special 4 candles for $32 plus shipping a total of $44.99 came out of my bank account and as of today 12/22/16 have not received my order.

I tried calling 310-870-7114 phone is no longer in service, I tried their email prizecandle.com, my emails were returned due to website is non-existence. I looked them up on BBB.org and there was nothing there. The BBB was updating prize candle reviews, maybe because they no longer exist.

They took my money as fast as I made the purchase, but today they can't be found. I too am calling my bank to see what can be done. They stole my money, and my trust.

I purchased 4 candles on Dec 8th for a total of $50.96. They were poorly packaged with glass candle on top of glass candle with nothing in between. Needless, to say, they arrived all broken. Their website does not come up anymore and they are not answering emails. They were to be Christmas presents and now I am out the $50.96 plus I have to go and purchase different presents. I placed 2 orders for candles on December 03, 2016. The total was about $90. After receiving order confirmations there were no other personal communications from Prize Candle - though I continue to receive email offerings until Decemeber 10, 2016. On December 11, 2016 I tried getting in touch with a prize candle to check on my orders. I discovered their website was down and their phone number is no longer in service. Their Facebook page stopped being updated around noon on December 10, 2016 and they are not responding to message or emails. I filed a report with the BBB on December 14, 2016 after numerous attempts to make contact with Prize Candle to no avail. On December 17, 2016 I actually did receive my candles, 2 orders of 3 candles each. They were 3 to a box. The boxes were full of broken glass. They were packaged so horribly the candles were nearly all broken. 1 somehow survived the shipping.

I cannot possibly give these out as Christmas gifts! Also, it is interesting to not that the listed owner of Prize Candle (according to the BBB) is Nancy Lyczkowski. LinkedIn has he listed as the owner / founder of Prize Candle with the active dates of September 2012 through September 2016. What is going on here?

During the summer of 2016, I received an ad from Prize Candles on my facebook. I ordered the candles for $21.98 a month. I received my first two just fine.

But the next month I did not receive one. The next month I did. I started receiving one every other month but noticed I was still being charged for one a month.

This may not seem like a lot of money to some people. But I am a widow living on a fixed income and I have to count for every penny.

I have tried calling them, but the number I have says the number I dialed is no longer in service. I can not find a good email address for them.

Any thing you can do for me would be appreciated.

I ordered 5 candles from Prize candle on 12/10/16 and immediately received a confirmation email saying another email would be sent once they shipped. That email never came and I started to worry I wouldn't get these in time to give to my co workers as holiday gifts so I tried to contact them thru their website. I sent 2 emails and got no response. Since then the website has been disabled. I then sent messages thru their facebook page asking if they planned on sending them and to just let me know so I can make other arrangements before it's too late...still no reply. They took the money out of my account and I received nothing. There are many others that have posted on their facebook page that the same thing happened to them. The messages we leave get deleted fairly quickly though.

Prize candles was having a Christmas sale. I figured it was trust worthy. My daily has ordered from it before. I ordered from a deal that was buy three candles for 38 dollars. Thats including shipping. It had been a few weeks since I ordered so I went to the website to track my order. They have shut the website down, and no way to contact them. They have taken everyone's money after so many bought from the sale, then shut it down. It's 3 days till christmas. I am out of 3 gifts, and 38 dollars. Something Needs be done about this. This has effected more people then just myself.

I placed an order on December the 9th, 2016 for $100 worth of candles. Since then I have tried desperately to reach them and the phone number is no longer in service and repeated emails to them with no response. I sent my final email yesterday December 19th, 2016 explaining to them that if I didn't hear back from them I would be filing fraud charges against them. I still did not hear back from them and the email came back undeliverable so now the email is no longer active as well as the website and phone number. I'm not certain where they disappeared too but its unforgivable to take someones money and leave a person in this situation. I now have to wait until my bank researches the fraud charge and for my money to credit back to my account. These were Christmas Gifts so I now have no gifts to give until my money is returned to me.

I ordered 3 candles from Prize candle. I paid with card for candles. They cashed the check on Dec 9th. Today is Dec 20th. So I wrote to prize candle.com that;s all there was. Came back could not reach that e-mail.

Then I read on line about some other people getting no candles either. I can't even pull up their page anymore,but they are still on facebook as of 20 min ago. I'm hoping to get them but if not my money back. Well when on dissability this is not good for me. Even though it was $37 and change! Thanks Angie brookpark Ohio
