Private Goldmine is a scammers paradise. Anyone can sign up as a private lender. There is no verification. I know, I did it and I don't have a dime to lend. Of the 4 lenders I contacted, 3 wanted cash up front. I was scammed out of $35,000 by one of the four lenders. All 4 use something called an "advance funding" scheme. I can't believe I was so stupid. I am in possession of a 100% fake credit card the funds were issued on. There may be legitimate lenders, but I doubt it. Save yourself the $97.00 a month. They do not return fees paid.
I'm so sorry you ended up being the guinea pig, I appreciate you posting your experience, I was just about to fall for the scam as well. Thank you so much.
I did a reverse phone # check and found most were a third party non traceable numbers or not registered to them and the ones that did verify were associated with a house that was worth $80K -!25K ,,, to my way of thinking how could someone living in a home worth $125K (most of the time were not owned buy the associated name) state they had $1M to loan....
I found one person who I looked up on Linkedin and found he was a real estate investor and everything looked good so I approached him through PMGM and started the loan process.... after sending him my information he asked for an PPI (disability payment insurance) and that seemed ok but then he wanted me to send money before closing to pay for this to a bank account in NYC.... I responded that I would only pay with Credit card to the insurance company that way if it was fraudulent then I had recourse. Then he stated it had to go through his associate because it was a special state of calif program.. At this time I knew it was a scam.
I contacted the real person through LinkedIn and found out he too had been scammed by this same guy and the scammer has been using his identity for 18 months.
I had to go sign up for identity protection because now this same scammer has my information so PMGM is now costing me $25 per month for the rest of my life to protect me from cesspool of scam artist that PMGM creates.
The web site has no real connection to getting a personal loan. The site is set up to make one guy rich...………...and a den of thieves a reason to get out of bed. Would not waste your time with these folks as they offer no vetting process or responsibility for bad actors. Stay away!
