Pristine Custom Rings Reviews

Etsy Store selling diamond and Charles and Culvard Forever Moissanite engagement rings. Requested a custom quote for a listing advertising a 10mm Forever Brilliant center stone with 2.05ct diamond setting for $3,950. Owner emailed back promtly quoting me $500 to upgrade the center stone to a Forever One Moissanite. When inquired about just the setting the owner quoted me $3,490 then sent an additonal email correcting the price quoted to $2,900. I received a 3rd email quoting the price of that same ring with a Forever One center would be $3,500. Shortly after I received a 4th email again correcting the previous quote stating the Forever One ring would be $4,500. I asked if she would match moissaniteco.com's price of $1,450 for a 10mm Forever One and Stephaie agreed to drop her price to $4,300. She made me a private listing where it came to light that the ring she was quoting me for was not the ring that was being advertised as 2.05ct that I had inquired about but an identical ring with only 1.5ct. My assumption is that she copied and pasted the ring details and forgot to change the weights but whatever. I confirmed via email I wanted the 2.05ct and my 5th and final quote on the initiay requested ring was $4,600. After purchasing the ring and waiting longer than expected for it to arrive, I was disappointed that the owner failed to include the appraisal as promised. I notified the owner who said she would sent it out. Almost a month later and still no appraisal I followed up with Stephanie who claimed to have mailed it and asked that she email it to me. Upon receipt of this so called appraisal, the total weight of the 192 damonds was specified as 1.96ct. I was furious that I did not receive the 2.05ct setting as confirmed, purchased, and indicated in the receipt. Stephanie agreed to give me a full refund if I returned the ring. Ummm NO...the engagement ring that was purchased now has sentimental value in which I do not want to do away with. Instead of returning I made it clear that I just wanted to be refunded what I was shorted but the owners disagreed to a partial refund claiming that 1.96 is close to 2.05ct. The next day Stephanie sent an email saying the appraisal had a typo and the weight of the setting was actually 1.82ct with 194 stones. More furious I had a friend whom previously worked in the jewelry industry who informed me that my ring had exactly 153 diamond stones with an approximate weight of 1.60ct. After relying this newly discovered information back to the owner, they still refused to refund me the difference of over .50ct they shorted me in purchasing this ring. The only option they have agreed to is me returning the ring and they will refund the entire purchase price. This store owner has already misrepresented the weight of my setting, in addition to it taking her 4 quotes before she was able to get it right, and to think I would be stupid enough to return the ring and trust that they will honor their promise of a refund is absured, I have filed a chargeback with the bank so they can decide who is entitled to the full purchase price.
